I got my UHD Samsung player a week ago and there's something I haven't got yet, which is to move an app that is on the ''Most Popular'' section to either My Apps or Recommended. Can this be done? Maybe if I erase an app I want on either of both sections and reinstall it I can get this, but I don' know how to uninstall an app.
By the way, do any of you use RGB Enhanced as HDMI Colour Format? I have set HDMI 4 on my Philips set to ''PC'', corrected the levels for contrast and bright and I must say I like how UHD BDs and BDs look this way better than with the Auto or YCbCr 4:4:4 settings. |

Ok guys, need some help:
I finally put together my new Vizio D 50" TV, UHD Samsung 8500, and of course my Denon 910. What I found out after hours of trial and error is that the only way I can get 4K Netflix content in 4K UHD is by dual HDMI connection (Samsung to TV and TV to Denon). If I simply connect TV to Denon Output and player to Denon Input all the 4K Netflix programs are displayed in HD 1080 only ![]() |

This is how I set up the player, RGB Enhanced, then decrease contrast by -3 and increased brightnes by +3, both of them on the picture settings of the player. Then did the full picture adjustment on the T.V. set with the HDMI input I have the Samsung player connected set as PC (it can be set as T.V., Game and PC). This is how I got the picture quality I like the most. Deep Colour is set to Auto. |

I'm a proud owner of the Samsung UBD 8500! Just got back from Best Buy and put Chappie 4K bluray in and i'm totally amazed by the colors and sharpness. My question is that i have a Sony XBR 55X850C model, do i need to adjust any picture settings or player settings? I tried the HDR video mode and it was too red. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Make sure you turn on hdmi enhanced color on your tv. This will allow hdr to come through along with 10 bit color. |

I can confirm that I now see the HDR tag on the Amazon content that is HDR enabled. The app was updated on 5/3. Netflix on the other hand hasn't been updated on either the k8500 or my Samsung TV. Netflix informed that to enable HDR the app must use SDK 4.2 or higher. Both Netflix applications, tv and uhd player, are compiled with SDK 4.1.5
