But you are paying the same price for a lower quality product...I dont care how advanced VuDu streaming is, it is still a compressed signal which will introduce some degree of compression artifacts that you wont find in the original bluray

Roku 4 2016 Model OLED LG 4kTVs(some of them anyway) Certain VIZIO 4kTV models And I believe only a few of the LG and VIZIO TVs offer Dolby Vision. The Roku 4 is only UHD. I have no idea if VUDU has some sort of exclusive deal, but I really wish they'd expand UHD to other TVs as well as 4k Blu-ray players. And they need to start offering HDR10(or a Dolby Vision stream that can display the HDR10 portion). There are some titles that will likely never see the light of day on UHD disc that I wouldn't mind buying from VUDU(The Nice Guys for example), if only I could actually stream them. |

I know this is most likely the wrong thread but it's a Samsung 4K related question. Now I just bought a 43inch Samsung 2016 I believe it's the s600 series TV. I am new to all the pain settings and stuff so I have a question do you leave the Auto motion plus feature on while watching a blu Ray? Now mind you I'm just watching a regular 1080p blu Ray my Xbox one s doesn't get picked up at GameStop until next week or the week after. Do I leave this feature on all the time or do I turn it off. Does it improve the Pq on UHD blu and regular blue. It seems to me making things run extra smooth and sped up the motion a bit is that normal. Also I assume once I get a 4K player I turn on the HDMI UHD color mode? Sorry for what's probably a couple stupid questions but I'm not sure what to do thanks

Does anyone know the correct settings to put the machine on for 3D movies? I just got the 3D glasses for my Sony 4K XBR X55850C and I can't get the 3D to work at all, unless the batteries that came with the glasses are dead. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated!

Wait a sec... You rather watch the UHD digital version off of your UV code than the UHD disc??

Offer CineMotion 24p auto1, auto2
auto1 : Applies an inverse 3-2 pull-down process along with motion estimation to obtain the smoothest picture quailty and reduce artifacts of moving images. auto2 : Applies only the inverse 3-2 pull-down process. picture movement will be silmliar to the original film. |

Blu-ray 3d should not need those settings, normally switching automatically. There are some other sources that send 3d side to by side (two pictures side by side that are sqeezed horizontally) or 3d side by side (two pictures top and botteom squeezed vertically). Most 3d TV's also have a setting to artificially create 3d from 2d sources. There are also a few other odd ed version available, e.g. checkerboard and horrors anaglyphic)

Go to 3D settings under Picture settings, on my Sony I have auto detect ON and use the Auto 1 setting. I don't use those other 3D settings not even sure what they are for. On mine there's a depth adj too, I prefer the high setting.
On the player set 3D to Auto and your screen size. |

So I had some 4K trailers that I downloaded last year to watch on my Vizio P series, but it couldn't read them off of the USB key. So this weekend, I tried the player, and it played them perfectly, and they were fantastic! Any word on where I can download more 4K movie trailers?
Also, I watched all of the Rogue One Trailers in 4K through the YouTube app on the Samsung player. My nine Month old was hooked on it! I am such a proud papa! |

I have a Sony 4K TV model number XBR 55X850C. I'm starting to think the problem is not with the TV but rather with the glasses. I was trying to save money so I bought 4 pairs for $90 from a company called Coolux. They're supposed to be exactly the same as the actual Sony glasses but it looks like they're not.
