Anyway, to see what I mean, take one of your trusty Blu-ray movies that contain the test signals as described above, put it in a Blu-ray player hooked up to a well calibrated Sony 4K tv and do the same with the Vizio and skip through the color bars, the free IEEE Video Resolution Chart (http://www.aig-imaging.com/mm5/merch...olution-Charts) and the flesh tone images of the blonde model (if you got that right with your calibration) and pay particular attention to the long slow panoramic shot of the outdoor landscape with the leaves, shrubs and Japanese style architecture at the end.

I think the Vizio is an excellent value but still not Tier1 quality like Sony and other brands.

If you want to really improve the processing just put a LUT processor in-front of any LG OLED TV.

lol Robert, well, perhaps so, but by “nirvana” I was more referring to a consumer-ready TV, i.e. one device, period, without the general consumer hooking up, or much less requiring knowledge of even the existence of an external video processor or LUTs

Another thought being, can a single consumer electronics company develop and sustain a display technology (OLED).
