It was really noisy during Passengers which was a first. Usually, it would last about ten or twenty seconds, then subside for the rest of the movie. This time it was throughout which annoyed me to no end. The player sits behind glass which I closed and did help. When the movie ended, it was still making the obnoxious noise. Ugh.

I got a second player for the bedroom and it does make a little noise for the first few seconds, but quickly goes away.

I'm considering taking one back and swapping out for the Sony that was recently released.

Wasnt Passengers a hell of a story? I enjoyed that

I love the movie. Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence was awesome. PQ was beautiful though sometimes I thought the CGI looked too CGI, if that makes sense.

The trailer looked good. I know it got mixed reviews and someone at work already spoiled the twist for me, but I still want to check it out!

Now that Dolby Vision is software based I think it would be possible this player gets upgraded to Dolby Vision but I don't think Samsung does that,their more interested in selling new player with built in Dolby Vision than upgrading an older one that's phasing out.

What would happen if I try to do a firmware upgrade on my European palyer using a US firmware?
