I hope the 4K movies come with a 1080p copy. I plan on buying a 1080p projector and will be watching some of the same movies on a 4K TV.

Not sure about other studios, but the Fox films do come with a standard Blu-ray copy.

I think that's going to be an essential selling point for me - being able to buy the UHD version without having the UHD player. Will help ease the transition.

Same for me. I owned the BDP1000, one of the first blu-ray players and it sucked. Went to a PS3, then Panny, and then Sony. Owned Oppo as well. Never been back, until now...

That's all I have owned for the last 5+ years (see sig). When I buy a UHD player in a couple of months, I'll probably give my old Sammy Blu-Ray player to one of my kids.

I think they put a "hold" of funds on your card, but it won't actually post to your account until after it ships. A hold usually only lasts a few days. I thought they would consistently put holds of the amount on your card until the item ships.

My card shows no transaction. Should be just like an Amazon preorder, you charge when it ships. Bbuy is not a small company worried about you holding a place.

I just placed a pre-order on my BB card, which is maxed out at the moment, and had no problems.

I'll cancel if the Panny comes in at a good price.

Not really. It's all planned out to maximize points and minimize interest. My card is usually maxed out right up until the point when there's another big purchase to be made, or a promotional offer is expiring.

Oh, I agree, was just kidding. Many times, if the price is competitive, I use my BBuy card with 12 months no interest. I actually ordered my Samsung with the BBuy card too.
