It's possible that the logo was used when Disney was marketing the 3D technology as Disney Digital 3D Powered by Blu Ray. Since Disney is using a different marketing logo, Disney Blu Ray 3D, it would confuse consumers as it refers to two brands, both the same but differently named.

I may be wrong (since I no longer have the disc), but I think I saw this intro on the Sony 3D demo sampler (https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Sony-...Blu-ray/18729/).

Finally managed to find a region B copy of "Meet the Robinsons" in pristine condition yesterday for $2 AUD...

Mind you I had to purchase it along with a batch of other BD & 3D Blu-ray discs ....40 discs for $80

Looking forward to checking it out.

So Meet The Robinsons is now on my radar. It seems to be quite expensive everywhere but the review for this movie & 3D is certainly enticing :-)

I totally missed this one when it came out, and now mention of it seems to be popping up on the 3D FB page and here. Reviews of the film praise both the film and the quality of the 3D. Just watched the trailer and it looks great; ‘50s sci-fi aesthetics are right up my alley. Lowest price I could find on eBay was $47 shipped. At least it includes the lenticular cover, and I love lenticular covers. Really looking forward to this one now. Is it time for a Meet The Robinsons renaissance?

It's great, I can't recommend it enough for both the movie and the 3D. One of my favourites.

Thank you all for your positive comments on Meet the Robinsons - that's what nudged me into seeking out this movie in the first place. And a great big THANK YOU especially to Jlardonio and pickit60 for their pointers. I am now the proud purchaser of Meet the Robinsons on 3D. It's a single disc edition but the other discs would have just remained on the shelf gathering dust so for me.

Please UK Postmen, no more Industrial Strike Action (apart from today)

I've G-Force for years and never got around to watching it until last night. All I can say is wow! It's reference quality. The CGI/animation is some of the best Disney has ever put out rivaling even their recent stuff. The 3D is as good as any you'll find. Incredible depth, clarity, brightness and even some tasteful popouts. This and Alice Through the Looking Glass are Disney's very best 3D blu rays imho

As promised, I am ready to tell you what I think. I watched this on Tuesday with pizza.

First of all I had a weird problem, like 2 minutes into the movie the PS3 started beeping and put up a message that the system was hot and would shut off and don't turn it back on for a while. It wasn't hot that I could feel, but I know the OG PS3's had thermal issues and maybe mine was dying. So I watched to the Oppo and went from there. (It was a fluke as far as I can tell, I've watched several movies on the PS3 since with no problem.)

Despite it being a time travel movie, the story was not engaging to me and several aspects of the lead character annoyed me. I got bored after 30 minutes too. I think it's one of the worst Disney movies I've seen. (Please don't take that to mean i think it's terrible because it's not, all is relative.) I can see it having meaning for anyone who was a foster child. And it's weird I watched the movie Luck on Apple TV+ the next day which weirdly coincidentally is also about foster children trying to get adopted, although it was a much better movie. I will say in the end the plot has an interesting twist although the execution up to that point left a lot to be desired.

The 3D was frustratingly inconsistent. Some shots were medium strong. Some were straight up weak. I know this movie was made before 3D so it was not made with 3D in mind but I thought the conversion could be a lot better. The specials are a coule making of's and then a segment on key inventions in history (the movie is about an inventor). Then there is a memory game I didn't bother with and then the java shooter game which I wasted like 10 minutes on. But the description of it doesn't match what actually happens. Maybe you have to get to the next level or something but it is a pain playing this with a blu-ray controller.

I assume most everyone who wants this already has it but if you're condidering this I think should be lower on your older 3D priority list.
