My British bluray copy has 7.1 aswell. I don't think they did a new audio mix.

The Nightmare on Elm Street films look awful on blu-ray, especially the 3rd one, which is a shame because it's the best one after the original.

Amadeus is definitely one with a low bitrate VC-1, edge enhancement, noise reduction. It just reused the old hd master from the DVD.

One that comes to mind after reading through these again is Troy. It needs a new 4K scan, AVC, and a bitrate that is triple the original disc.

Thing is though, Troy actually looks pretty good. A lot better than some other films that really do badly need a new transfer.

HELP! They do a wonderful restoration of the film...then ruin it with edge enhancement.

Also Young Guns and pretty much anything released by Universal or Paramount.

I agree, but there is plenty of room for improvement. We also need the theatrical cut.
