Well not really because that would be super awkward but doing things like that would definitely reduce the stupidity in stores.

The grocery store at the end of my block has had a line outside of it every day since this started. Workers would let people in according to the mandate allowing only a certain number of people in. They would also make sure everyone had a mask on.

Well, today, that was completely different. No one standing outside. No workers letting people in. Just a free for all.

Did something change that I'm not aware of in NYC?

I very rarely snitch unless I have no choice because I believe adults should control their own behavior. However, this is a global pandemic and people should act accordingly.

People are starting to catch on. You should look at stats and not listen to fear.

So if your supervisor threatened to terminate your employment for something your co-worker did, you wouldn't snitch on them? I can't believe how often people snitch in the workplace over things they should bring up with the co-worker they have a problem with. If I were a supervisor and I had an employee snitching to me, I'd make them deal with it themselves unless it were something serious.

I see people do dumb stuff all the time at work, I just keep it to myself. Not my business.

Only time I would say something is if it were involving racism, homophobia, etc.

The rules and laws should be based on statistics, not fear mongering. Georgia is open and they are functioning fine. Arizona is opening and yet the California cowardly lion Governor has extended the lock down there for 3 months. No stats can justify staying closed up tight for 3 more months.

I have a bad feeling about the press conference in 30 minutes. I fear what this is going to do to a lot of businesses like restaurants and universities that rely on regular income to function.

That’s pretty strong word choice.

Run for office, then, if you think you know so much. Or, better yet, start practicing medicine.

I don't really understand why you're in this thread anymore. It's sorta like hanging around in a thread for a movie you hate.

Took the kid to DQ for a little treaty-treat. The old man working the drivethru started hacking up a lung when he took my money. Thank goodness he was wearing a mask and gloves.

Wait, so you want an echo chamber where only like minded people are heard?

Agree except that Newsom didn't extend the lockdown 3 more months. Some health official speculated that yesterday but that was shot down.

In fact, things are going so well in the Bay Area that San Mateo county is breaking off from the Bay Area shutdown and going to stage 2 reopening with the rest of the state. Hopefully my county (Marin) will do the same. Not fair to keep these businesses closed while the big box stores cash in on their misfortune.
