Like I said, most New Yorkers have no interest in going near Times Square on a normal day, nevermind during a pandemic, but this is a Saturday morning in Union Square.

Don't get me wrong - I'm not remotely defending any of those people being there. They shouldn't be. But...people are doing a LOT of things that they shouldn't. I had to go deposit some checks today and there were a normal amount of people on the sidewalks. In fact, there was a younger girl running from restaurant to restaurant trying to open the doors. There apparently was also a group of approx 30 people at the park here with coolers and playing music.

We're leading the entire country and a lot of people DO NOT care. They're acting like it's a vacation. It's only going to get much, much worse here.

And you know what Cuomo will do. He will go from Shelter-In-Place to Lockdown. No one is to be on the streets who doesn't belong there. And it that doesn't work he will call in the National Guard. Take that to the bank and cash it.

That's a lot of money; they could buy lots of masks and goggles and protective gear for all the doctors and nurses and medical assistants.
They could also buy lots of ventilators, test kits, ...

They could have put that money in preparation to an eventual pandemic ...

He is responding to the crisis VERY WELL. But in NY the outbreak is pretty much out of control. Today it's between 12,000 and 13,000 cases. How will he react when next week it hits 50,000 cases?

Here's the score: People venture outside, other people are around ... more chances for the virus to spread. No need for a Phd in rocket science.

So the army is coming (no choice because there are always people who are not watching or reading the important directives, or still just don't believe we're in a pandemic this year...since a while back but wasn't officially declared till just recently so to not create drama), and the army needs masks (quality ones), and the virus can spread among them...all because people are not listening, and all gets much worse and for much longer. ...Automatic...that's how it works...a bad virus that spreads real quick in invisible ways and kills our mothers and fathers and most vulnerable people of our societies...like me with a heart condition...for example, plus my Mom, all my friends over 70 and 80 (I have many friends and relatives in those age groups...many).

So, to the young people (between say 15 and 45), thank you for your compassion.
...For the love of your parents and elders...for all your friends who also have parents and relatives who are elders.

Inflation: The price of toilet paper will skyrocket on the grey market, milk and bread too, meat forget it...it's going to cost more than diamonds or gold, and 4K Blu-ray discs will cost hundreds a pop (for premium titles).
