The first time I ever encountered a bidet was during a trip to Paris, France back in 1968. I remember getting into the hotel room and having to take a piss. Saw this extra toilet thing next to the regular toilet. Reached over and turned a knob and instantly got hit in the face with a stream of water. I had no idea what it was nor how you used it. There was no seat like on a regular toilet.

So I called down to the desk and asked what is it? They replied "it's for washing your arse. You sort of squat over it!"

Nope . . . did not try that maneuver at all. TP for me!

Yup. Keep brushing, cut down on boozing and/or smoking, continue to exercise etc. You do not want to get sick or need medical attention for anything right now.

You're not a young dude...you've seen a bidet back in 68, a year before Woodstock.

That’s very unfortunate but at least you have no pain.

True . . . I am . . . a geezer! Coming up on my 69th birthday soon. And speaking of Woodstock - I was there. But only for a couple of hours. I was working at Grossinger's Hotel in Liberty NY at the time. Jimmy Grossinger said he knew a back road that would get us in. So off we went. It was such a zoo we decided to leave.

I always am amazed when I watch the news and they say the worse is still yet to come and how cases will continue to spread over the next few week. Here's a idea! How about we stop the spread NOW??? Anyone ever thought of that instead of waiting for a peak time and hoping and praying that things will get better then? Such stupidity!!

Engineers and technicians set-up and test the machines that will be used to manufacture Level 1 face masks Monday, March 30, 2020 at the General Motors Warren, Michigan manufacturing facility.

Aaron Leitz sets up and tests a machine that will be used to manufacture Level 1 face masks on Sunday at the General Motors Warren manufacturing facility. Production will begin next week and within two weeks ramp up to 50,000 masks per day, with the potential to increase to 100,000 per day.

"Tokyo is on the verge of an explosive increase of infections. We are trying to prevent that situation and trying to prevent further spread (of the virus). A decision by the state is needed now,” Koike told reporters Tuesday. "

And up to now Japan was a success story...

People are speculating that Japan was covering up their cases to make a show that they were still ready for the Olympics, but after it was postponed, cases just started to rise a lot because Japan had no reason to cover it up anymore. I mean, it made little to no sense that they would have less than 2,000 cases there, so something was definitely up.

Interesting, looks like they're using an 80/20 frame.

Honestly, the glass should’ve either been much longer, or stores could’ve taken more drastic measures by having customers put the items on the belt and wait at the next register over until everything has been rung up and payment/coupons are ready.

Again, the effort is nice, but they could’ve done more, I feel.

I refuse to get in conversations with the chatty baggers. I just ignore them. I'm paying attention instead to the clerk scanning my items and scanning any coupons I have. Then I have to tell the bagger how to bag what. I don't want the clerk to scan the person's stuff behind me. Why doesn't the fng trade of supermarkets have a standard of ---3--- separators in place at each station??? What people would steal those separators?? I wear gloves in the supermarket now. I pay with CC, and prefer the tap method if it's available.

It would interesting to see a time-lapse of all day at the TP isle...
