@ MrHT Why not just completely shave it all off yourself? It'll grow back.

That's my take as well. Even if I hadn't switched from head of hair to mostly cutting it all off 20 years ago, I would've taken up clippers in mid-March.

I love green chile cheeseburgers too but you can get those in Texas.

I don't want a shaved head. But even if I was ok with it, I can't do it anyway. I have a video meeting with a client on Monday. I need to look presentable and a shaved head will not cut it. That's actually the main reason I want to get my hair fixed now.

Just put a ballcap on & make sure to tilt it up & to the side a bit. Make sure it has a large crown emblem on it too.

Yeah the media is once again lying, shocker! They don't mind that their words have serious consequences and damage to local businesses.
Can you point me to where they were lying? Thanks.

Don't drink hand sanitizer people, jfc

Quote:
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – State health officials have announced that three New Mexicans have died from methanol poisoning. In addition to the deaths, one person is now permanently blind and three others are in critical condition.

"All seven people are believed to have drunk hand sanitizer containing methanol," a release from the New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) stated.

Methanol is a toxic form of alcohol that can cause kidney damage, blindness and death. Officials say it is most dangerous when ingested.

Well to me, hand sanitizer means it's meant for topical application and not for ingestion. Makes me think we need to start giving Americans "Adulting 101" or some such when they graduate high school or turn 18.

Over 500 inmates infected at San Quentin. That's only about 4 miles here. Count only includes inmates and they say it could trigger a big spike in the Bay Area.

Probably why our governor is bending over backwards to release people from our prisons.

The health department confirmed that the cases were related to alcoholism. Authorities have noted that people with substance abuse issues, particularly within the homeless community, have been known to use sanitizer and other products as a substitute for alcohol and liquor.
Nothing to do with the Rona.

BucketheadPikes, I was about to quote you, but your post disappeared in the process
as to anything relatively new offered to the public in today’s HHS press conference, pool testing was discussed by Tony as a follow-up to his interview with the Washington Post last Friday in which he also told the Post that the high levels of asymptomatic spread of the coronavirus are forcing health experts to rethink how to approach mitigating the spread of Covid-19.

"We now know the level of virus in an asymptomatic person is about the same as the level of virus in somebody who has symptoms," Fauci said. "So it's like, oh my goodness, how do you address that?"

I just got my first cut since January, FREAKING JANUARY!!!!!

I paid the poor guy double what I usually do since it was like 2-3 haircuts in one. Feel so much better now to be in summer cut form.

Well, I didn't get my haircut today. Here's what happened. Prior to the reopening, there was a sign at the barbershop that said exactly this... "The Barber shop will open June 22nd and I will have a sign in sheet so this way you don't have to wait in the shop." My understanding of this was that you come in, sign in and then wait outside to be called.

Well I must be an idiot because that's not what that was at all. You have to sign in for an ADVANCED APPOINTMENT. There are time slots to sign your name (every 15 mins) and today he was filled up, so I signed up for an empty slot tomorrow. So I have to go back tomorrow!

Why the hell does this have to be so complicated? This is why cases are going down so much here in NY. Because businesses have to operate like crap!

And just for historical reference, the 1918 pandemic had the same nutjobs.

Wait! Aren't you the one who preaches we should keep everything closed until a vaccine is found and administered?

You changed your tune! Now because it directly affects YOU, you want that barbershop to operate at 100% and the hell with social distancing!
