George A. Romero unused scripts - Blu-ray Forum

Horror legend George A. Romero passed away in July 2017, but a new interview with his wife, Suzanne Desrocher-Romero, has moviegoers excited there could be a lot of new Romero films on the big screen in the future. Speaking to ComicBook.com, Desrocher-Romero revealed there are dozens upon dozens of unproduced Romero scripts waiting to be made into films.

“We have a lot. George was a prolific writer,” Desrocher-Romero said. “He loved to write, and we have 40, 50 scripts that he’s written, and a lot of it is very good. He had a lot to say, and he still does, because I’m gonna make sure that he does. It’s my mission.”

Was gonna post this the other day... pretty intriguing news.

The unreleased 1973 movie coming to light is definitely exciting.

This isn't a criticism, but the man could barely get any movie made while he was alive (yet almost all of them have been remade). It would be bizarre to see Mr. Romero's films greenlit now that he's no longer with us.

Probably like Romero's later career the only ones of these that will get made will be zombie related.

Considering Survival of the Dead did get made, I dunno....

Would be some kind of hilarious if they dusted off his old script for a Resident Evil reboot.
