A bunch. The Lodger, Notorious, The Man Who Knew Too Much (30s), The 39 Steps, The Lady Vanishes, and Foreign Correspondent. The latter four can be bought individually or a box-set of all four (though the set is only on Criterion.com).

There is also Spellbound, but it has been OOP for a while. It will be coming back in print at some point though.

If you wait until the next criterion.com flash sale, you can get the entirely worthwhile Classic Hitchcock box with four titles in it, including The Lady Vanishes, for $47.50: https://www.criterion.com/boxsets/11...ssic-hitchcock

Omg B&N are delivering my Bergman set tomorrow (to UK) - that's 2 day delivery :O.

I don't know what's going on but their delivery used to take weeks to get to the UK. I am shocked haha!

I've never come across a set this realized. Criterion have really outdone themselves.

Very classy set. I'm anxious to see the new Fanny and Alexander transfer.

I suppose there's no need for a Criterion Year End poll in December to confirm the obvious.

Damn, I gotta get me that set.

Are the disc easily removable from the set? I'm surprised to not see more complaining about the use of sleeves as oppose to cases or whatever.

Uhhh....that book...looks beeyootiful. I love me some books, especially some magazine sized texts...looks like something you could use to study Bergman in a film class, though a college would probably charge twice as much for that book alone.

Definitely will get that at some point but I’ll have to get a bunch of mult-disc cases to store the discs in.

That is one of the reasons I decided against purchasing this set for myself, I just do not like my discs housed that way. I made an exception for Twin Peaks 3, but for all these films I just can't.

Another reason is I don't like those films sharing discs. I'm the type of person who likes films to have thier own stand-alone releases. I believe more of these films will be individualy released over the next little while. After all, we already have Sawdust and Tinsel, Shame, and Scenes from a Marriage.

I love Bergman, and that is a gorgeous set, but I'm holding out for the stand-alones which will bring me more joy.

Blurays are pretty hard to scratch, a lot stronger than DVD's.

Or just buy a case to hold them in, seems silly avoiding such an incredible release because of how they hold the discs

I suppose you could call it silly, if you see it that way. However, to me it is silly to put them in cases separate from the set to which the belong.

I caved and ordered the set through Amazon. I thought this sale would be light for me, with only getting the Princess Bride, Sisters, and the Complete Monterey Pop from B&N, but I think I just destroyed this silly word "light" and replaced it with "39 films in a big-ass book and some other stuff"

i plan on going chronological with my viewing over time. Unless I feel particularly inspired to grab a film before I'm up to it. This set is for the long haul. I can't even estimate an approximate date where I can say "done!" in terms of watching each film and every single extra.
