They took a 1.66 transfer and stretched it to fill 1.78

Have you watched it? It wasn't noticeable for me, and I looked for it. The DNR issues were blown way out of proportion as well. I thought the movie looked great!

I use a Nikon D70s in manual mode and it is a real pain most of the time. I'll take 250 shots and post the best 20 or so. You need a slow shutter speed to match the proper illumination of the TV. I usually keep the lighting in the room low or medium. My hands are pretty shaky so most shots are either blurry or the camera picks up funky patterns on the screen. If I am feeling really fancy, I set my camera up on a tripod and link the Nikon to my laptop. I'll use my Mac and Camera Control Pro 2 to control every aspect of my camera making for a slightly easier photoshoot.

looks really good! I am interested in software for my pc so that i can control my canon rebel xt from my pc but cannot find any! The software that came with the camera is not compatible with vista 64 and there are no updates for it on cannon.com! Any suggestions?

Yes I watched it.

My set has 1:1 pixel mapping and the image is ever so slightly distorted.

Nice! Some of those really look like animation cells. I dont even watch one piece, but I cant wait for my preorder to arrive. Should be some good fun.

Mine is set to 1:1 pixel mapping as well. Just didn't see it...

Disregard whatever others say, its a fine transfer. And obviously it looks a lot better on a decent hdtv than those PC screencaps I uploaded suggest.
