Searching through the forums it makes sense that Moana and Princess and the Frog are mastered in 4000 nits. Is it the same for Tangled, Big Hero 6 and Zootopia?

In terms of CGI, it is between this and Spiderverse for me.

Yes!!! All three of them are absolute bangers! My favorite CGI animated film in terms of visuals would have to be Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole. 10 years old and still one the best ultra-realistic CG animation ever done. Whishing for a UHD disc of that one!

Still waiting patiently here for a UK UHD release of this title.

And Big Hero 6.

And Wreck-It-Ralph.

Toy Story 4 is the knockout for me.

However, I finally got around to watching this (in 4K on Disney+) -- I was stunned by the CGI and the film itself. The UHD just dropped to $16.99 on Amazon, so I definitely bought it to add to my collection.

Man, those Disney 4K covers are so ugly.

It's a shame they didn't apply the same strategy, in terms of cover design, that they had for BD releases. And what I mean by that is: first release would have the original poster artwork and subsequent releases would have the plain "character in front of a colored background" design for the Disney Classics and Pixar # lines.

Because of that, whenever I see these 4K titles I always associate them with "re-release with uglier cover art".

I agree, especially with Tangled and Moana, which are such beautiful films. Let the cover arts represent that.

I'll moan about ugly covers with the rest of y'all but in these cases I don't give a fook what the cover looks like. We're getting several Disnee animated films on UHD in the UK without there being some over-arching cash-in opportunity AND they're only £15 a pop. They could be packaged in a bin bag for all I care, I'm just dumbfounded we're getting them at all.

They could be packaged in a bin bag for all I care, I'm just dumbfounded we're getting them at all.
You wouldn't be saying that if your UK sets had stacked discs lol

Even then I'd just swap 'em out for a non-stacked case, like I do with US Disnee 3-disc sets.

I mean the discs are always getting scratched when stacked, so if they're in a bin bag they'd be even worse

They don't have a third disc, so no stacked discs.

I'm not lying, I honestly thought about adding such a disclaimer to that post about discs being protected inside the bag but I thought 'nah, surely no-one's that anally retentive or literally minded that they'd pull me up on it, as it's just a figure of speech to denote that I don't care what the cover art looks like', and adding a disclaimer to a glib post kinda ruins the glibness of it. Oh well

Honestly I don't get why people are moaning about the cover art. We in the UK rarely get different cover art to the US especially on Disney Back Catalogue titles. Might be worth people looking up the remaining 4k titles artwork yo prepare for if we get another wave further down the road. Personally for me I don't mind it. I've seen alot worst. The spines match nicely with the rest of the Disney 4k titles. I have a beautiful 3D copy with stunning artwork to look at for art purposes. I'll have a matching 4k for my Disney wave. Win win for me.
