Thankfully the three I grabbed (Big Lebowski, Scott Pilgrim, Chronicles of Riddick) held up well. I'm irked that Pitch Black was at one of the FYEs, but still $20. It's also too bad Kick-Ass was only a "Reel Heroes" steel in the UK since it was a Lionsgate release in the US... yet Kick-Ass 2 was Universal

Also, I'm conflicted about Scarface, as I already have the initial steelbook Universal released... but then my brain screams "mortgage!" and suddenly I'm less conflicted. Although I did buy the Big Lebowski one despite already having the digibook

Still need to get Hellboy II, Hulk, The Incredible Hulk, Van Helsing and Serenity. Should've waited to get Scott Pilgrim, in hindsight. :c

A shame it's not a steelbook, but I love the Reel Heroes design, and this is my all time favorite movie, so that equals no-brainer!

I picked up the German steelbook version of King Kong remake even though the film doesn't really fit the "Reel Heroes" theme of the series. But I really needed this as I had gotten rid of the original packaging the BD came in when I was downsizing my collection. Watching the film again recently I realized this needs it own standalone spot on my shelf and there doesn't seem to be any other special release other than that old DVD set.

I was going to get that one too, but I guess i'm hoping Universal releases another Reel Heroes steelbook wave here in the US. It seems like the first wave sold quite well.

Yeah, those Universal steels were cool. Glad to know they sold well - that means there's a sizeable market for specialty packaging in the US. I thought steelbooks were more of a European thing.

Well they were a European thing, because the US was so damn late to the show! I think US studios are finally figuring this out, and have put the US on the specialty packaging map!

Finally there's artwork. I would check that page every few weeks, and there'd be nothing. It looks awesome, the best Reel Heroes edition to date in my opinon.

So many new ones have just been released, including Jurassic Park, The Blues Brothers, King Kong, Wanted, The Bourne Supremacy and maybe more, but I can't find them anywhere.

These are being released May 6th. Anyone know where we can find a full list?
