Just won Ico for £29, hopefully it won't be scratched! Fingers crossed! Should be getting SOTC for £20-25 tomorrow.....

What's the going rate for a Greatest Hits title for PS2 in the UK?

Here in the US, you can get a new Greatest Hits version of Shadow of the Colossus for $20US, which at current exchange rates equals about £13. I know software's a little more expensive across the pond, but twice the price seems a bit exorbitant.

That said, both games are excellent.

Greatest Hits (or Platinum over here) is about £12-£17. Can't find SOTC from anywhere apart from ebay though, and remember we can't play NTSC games

Hopefully they'll be worth it though

I'm not sure, the hype so far is pretty outstanding. As soon as Ueda is mentioned you only hear good things. We'll see.

Unless you're financially invested, it saddens me you're already thinking about this. All I remember is Shadow of the Colossus was far more successful than ICO, hitting number 1 in the UK all-format game sales charts for at least the first week.

Personally I believe this latest game will revive a huge interest in the older games. Because sadly, there just isn't anything else like it on the market. Anyone trying this PS3 iteration as their first Ueda game will surely want to see the older titles.

Gameplay looks like a mix between Ico & Shadow of the Colossus.

It may have been pretty much the same trailer as the leaked one, but this one had MUCH more detail. Looks to be an amazing game, just like Ico and SOTC was!!!
