Everyone? I don't think such a game exists. Action Adventure fans should all be watching closely.

I can't believe that Sony hasn't put out any new news on this game. I would just be happy with a release date.

Everyone missed it during TGS or forgot I guess. Still, can't complain about the fresh exposure.

One new screenshot!

Feed me more juicy, steamy barrels!

This week's issue of Famitsu has an interview with Fumito Ueda and two pieces of art. One is a hand drawing by Ueda-san himself and the other is a screenshot showing Toriko peeking out of a hole and looking at the main character. The boy looks to be carrying something.

No date has been decided yet but Ueda is looking forward to releasing the game as soon as it's set.
Lots of new information about the game will be shared this year.

Here's a quick summary of what the interview says:

- The game uses gameplay elements from ICO and Shadow of the Colossus, like climbing, grabbing, etc...
- The team is paying great attention to make Toriko's movements look smooth and the levels look natural.
- Ueda was very surprised at how the world, especially the West, reacted to the game's reveal at E3. He's very happy about the positive reaction.
- Because of this the team is feeling greater pressure than ever before.
- They're really trying to make Toriko look real and alive. That's where the team is focusing most.
- The animations of the characters are tied to the physics engine. They're really trying to make movements look natural.
- The new physics engine has improved how the characters react to each other.
- New information could come at E3 or TGS or any point during the year, it hasn't been decided yet.
- The game will be different and fun.

Today I learn nothing!

Well, actually..

Not reading too much into the wording because of the translation but I'm trying to imagine more than the obvious two-character interactions. Shadow of the Colossus had to cope with a small character climbing over the bumpy, jointed huge body of a colossus and getting flung around or off. The Last Guardian has that with the boy and Toriko but the barrel death in the first trailer is clearly physics driven and it's easy to imagine Toriko fighting, pushing other huge creatures with the boy jumping between the two.

Damn, that's too good.

I wouldn't even necessarily call them "hits". More like hidden gems. SotC did well by comparison, but they weren't everyone's forte I suppose. Nobody should miss them though.

Showing the Majin creature sleeping wasn't the wisest idea for avoiding rip-off accusations (maybe they want the extra attention) but the rest is pretty predictable co-op play you'd expect with a creature of Majin's design.

The Last Guardian's looking a lot more progressive in its use of physics.

Great, now 360 fans can say "we have something similar".

Even though TLG will crush the shit out that game regardless. Just like dante's inferno and GOW3.

Why does namco even bother putting JRPG"s on the 360? especially in japan. Do they like wasting money?

Don't you know, wasting money is the new in. (For most third party)

And about TLG, hopefully there's a new trailer soon. Looking forward to seeing more.

This forum............
What was your point exactly? The way you wrote it, it sure did look like it bothered you and then when someone says you shouldn't be bothered by that, you vent your frustration with your last sentence, what that shows me is that you take a lot of things to heart when you really shouldn't.
