1.5 months left, thanks. I can bet the reviews will be positive.
Before playing The Last Guardian, I'll replay parts of Ico and Shadow of Colossus again. The PS3 version of the 2 games was worth it IMO, not only for the higher resolution but also the 3D option.

You used the 3D feature then? Was it cool? (I'm sure it was haha).

The 3D features for Ico and Shadow look great though I wish I could crank the 3D up even more as a fan of stronger 3D. If you have a 3DTV, it's worth a look and if you're a fan of the series, it's worth owning.

I'm going to try to find some time to replay pieces of the two games before its release. In 3D of course. Now that the PS4 can actually handle 3D much better, the developers have other plans of what to do with that free processing power.

Most of the games in 3D I've tried, the feature has sucked, but SotC would definitely be one of the better ones. The 3D in Trine 1 and 2 was really well done also.

Ico seemed to have more opportunities for the 3D since it takes place in a giant castle with plenty of walls around, while Shadow of the Colossus has a lot more wide open fields, so it doesn't have as many opportunities to have stuff enter the 3D frame.

On topic, I wonder if all of these delays, the Sony team that completed The Last Guardian would consider another title after this? I think they'll wait and see how it sells first.

Closer to release date they'll delay it again for 2017. We already know this story

Surely this is to add support for PS4 Pro.

I'm guessing a lot of these recent delays are associated with the Pro, but they're not going to say that because then it would make it appear the new system is causing a great amount of additional work for developers which, I believe, Sony said it would not do.

Literally EVERY post-launch first party Sony game that gets announced for Fall has gotten delayed.

Why would they delay the game bc of the Pro? Im not sure that makes sense and it does nothing but affect the sales of the game. This already had a rocky development cycle and a delay shouldnt be taken lightly bc its reflecting poorly on Sony and this game now. Early Dec is an awful time to release a game, whereas Oct was good, being the only first party Sony title. Its now coming the same week as Gravity Rush 2, which is puzzling that Sony would potentially have the two cannibalize each other's sales

Surely a SONY 1st party knew about the PS Pro long ago. This is simply them coding like grandmas.

Jeez-US!

I haven't felt this much negativity surrounding PlayStation in such a short period of time since the early dark PS3 days.

I was told not to get my hopes up for that October release. Oh, how I feel silly now.

Obviously it's them delaying it out of the shooter pocalypse that was BF1, Titantfall 2, CoD and Skyrim within the same three weeks. This at least gives it some chance to sell. Cause I assure you, after ten years they'd actually like people to buy their game.

The people that have been waiting 10 years for the game would get it regardless of other games coming out at the same time (I would hope). And realistically that's the only people that will be buying this anyway is the people that have been waiting and know what it is.

I originally thought it would be a December release anyways and then was (nicely) surprised when we saw that October date at E3. I just get this feeling that it's more of a holiday game I can nicely enjoy in winter than before Halloween lol. I hope to get Until Dawn to enjoy for Halloween, even though it takes place in winter... but best to wait for Black Friday at the end of November.
