Yup, that Blu-ray is a mess because of the IMAX DMR process that was not as good as it is today....

TDKR has actually a fine transfer

Nah, I don't want the IMAX Scenes to be even more cropped.... I don't think Nolan would approve that....

They are cropped on disc, I don't see the harm since the TV versions are constant AR

They are cropped to 1.78:1 on Blu-ray from 1.43:1. I don't want them even more cropped to 2.4:1. Nolan never did this with his IMAX movies. I don't think this will ever change (except on Standard DVD)
