I do watch some of his videos for fun but anyone taking him seriously needs a deep cerebral scan.

And he deletes responses that are critical of his opinions. He deleted one of my posts when I said he should not be using Wide color gamut with SDR in his picture settings.

I've done better just going by eye. I can tell even on my phone the red primaries are off, he's over saturated blue, plus noise reduction looks to be set to high. Basically tried to create a Samsung like image on an LG by display by forcing delta errors and shoving the OLED light above 40.

$5 is way too less to change to Vivid mode and crank up the colour even further or force SDR into REC 2020 colour space so that it looks super vivid. I pity his ardent fans.

He has given critical reviews of LG OLEDs, and has been critical about the FW, tone mapping etc. It's not too hard to find his complaints about LG OLEDs on his youtube channel, if you take a few minutes to actually look for them. If LGD was really paying him off, they would not want him to give bad reviews on any OLED tv, no matter the brand, because that would hurt their bottom line.

Vincent has also said he is not going to evaluate a tv based on it's near black banding as that is a panel lottery issue. It doesn't matter what brand of tv, as all the panels come from LGD and it's the luck of the draw if you get a perfect panel.

As far as the Vizio OLED, maybe go over to AVS and read how D-Nice ripped it and flat out said he could not recommend buying that tv at any price. So it was just not Vincent giving it a less than flattering review. And D-Nice wasn't the only professional calibrator on AVS that gave it horrible reviews. But apparently, you choose not to read those and then attack Vincent for his less than flattering review.

Talk about being biased.

D-Nice is not sponsored nor paid so when he praises and/or rips a TV he has more credibility. D-Nice also said that the LG CX was no improvement over the C9 and that the C9 was a better purchase. Did Vincent say tell the public that?

Anyone that gets paid to give reviews is compromised. D-Nice, to my knowledge, doesn't have a Youtube channel, so he's no Youtube Influencer like Vincent. I don't think you understand what Influencer marketing is.

Different people different strokes. Ultimately, VT is a well respected pro calibrator. Yes, he is human after all and can't please everyone and be super accurate all the time but comparing Quantum against him is a bit too much.

And even if he did that, we, as grown up adults can exercise our own judgement and do additional due diligence instead of blindly going by one mans' words.

I am not saying VT is like a demi god pro calibrator but he can also make mistakes like every other human being. But, this Quantum guy is spreading misinformation at a broader scale, launching attacks on others and coming out as a jacka**.

If people don't think it's obvious that Quantum attacks Vincent with disturbing regularity because he's jealous, views Vincent as a threat for some stupid reason, or just plain old wants to get views. Then they've got some problems themselves.
