I never said these TVs were God's gift. In fact my first 4K TV was LG C8 which got replaced by 2 Panasonic DX902s (LED_LCD) which got replaced by Panasonic GZ1000 OLED which is still not ticking my boxes.

This means, I am now looking at JZ2000 / A9J as I still crave for that extra brightness at lower price tag that the 902 gave me and it still remains the undisputed champ in full field brightness (880 nits!) sustained for minutes.

If you are a top professional in your field, companies will wine and dine you. Yes, they want to try and sell you on their products, answer all your questions, because in Vincent's case, he has a youtube channel with nearly 300,000 subscribers.

I guess you might as well claim he is a paid shill for going to China and visiting the TCL plant, or going to South Korea and visiting Samsung. Oh, yes he also visited LG Display to see how they made OLED panels. He has pointed out flaws in all 3 brands in his videos. Not a very smart influencer, biting the hand that feeds you.

You constantly attack his credibility, without any proof that he is selling out. You are on the verge of slander. You think just because he has a youtube channel, he does whatever he is told by the industry.

As far as the Vizio, the reason why he had to order it from the states is because they are not sold in the UK, and people wanted him to do a review. So yes, he paid for it out of his own pocket. He bought it from a Best Buy and they shipped it to him. An employee at the store is one of his followers and he got an employee discount which helped offset the cost. He was straight up about that too.

He gets his tv's for review from a local dealer. They are kind enough to let him review the tv's they have, and then he returns them. yes, he does give an advert to that store on his youtube video. At least he is honest and says where he gets the tvs for review. And he doesn't get cherry picked panels. He gets whatever they have in stock. So it's not LG, Samsung, TCL, etc that are sending him free tvs.

So if you have proof that he is making false claims about any tv he reviews, please tell us. You are the one accusing him of selling out. If you can't prove it, it's best maybe you shut up because you are becoming a joke.

You obviously don't like Vincent. I would bet you have that Vizio tv that he criticized. If you do, sorry that you bought a piece of junk. Maybe next time listen to Vincent.
There has been an option on YT to put that you contain sponsored content before his videos existed.
Before recently he never flagged them as sponsored, he just said partway into the video.
It is shady stuff.

The C8 is great. But you've got that LG gamma algorithm, colour is not as good as Sony, particularly red, and motion handling.

Rule 1, no display is perfect, it's about what's perfect for you.

I think you're bringing up something else. Anyone, I have different type of advise for you. You're chasing brightness, blowing thousands every year on the latest TV's because you're chasing nits. See my signature below!!

The C8 is OK, the Sony is better. However, I will try to hold out until Micro-LED.

You got that right mister. You'd better have a warm igloo to put that OLED TV in a corner.

What is influencer marketing?

Influencer marketing is a form of collaboration. A business collaborates with an influential person to promote something. It could be a product, service, or campaign.

Celebrity endorsements were the original form of influencer marketing.

But in today’s digital world, social content creators with niche audiences can often offer more value to brands. These people have dedicated and engaged groups of followers on social media. They are known simply as “social media influencers.”

Now the keyword in the above is "collaboration". Now let's define that word.

Collaboration is a working practice whereby individuals work together for a common purpose to achieve business benefit. Collaboration enables individuals to work together to achieve a defined and common business purpose.

Does that not describe what Vincent does? Do you get it now? Can't you see how you've been manipulated, wake up. Again, people like Vincent is compromised for simply being a Youtube influencer. It is simply impossible to be an influencer and not be compromised.
So again, what proof do you have that Vincent has agreed with LG to promote their product? What proof do you have that they formed a collaboration? Again, you are connecting dots that you can't even prove exist. When celebrities agree to collaboration, they sign contracts and get paid. So please show me proof of a signed contract between Vincent and LG. After all, you are accusing him of doing that. Oh wait, you can't. Instead, you have your little conspiracy in your head that Vincent is just a mouthpiece for LG. I would advise you to remove that tin foil hat off your head. It's been on way too long.

Now I say to you, what part of having no proof don't you understand? You make up things. You accuse Vincent with zero proof. You literally are blowing smoke out of your butt with your unsubstantiated claims.

I think his views on HDR are comical. But apart from that, no complaints.

The type of proof I think you're asking for is ridiculous, we're not in a court of law, this isn't civil case, if it was I could propound discovery wherein I could formally ask for Request for Admission, Interrogatories, Production of Documents, etc. where I could obtain the documented proof you're asking for. Right now I only have his own words, wherein he told the world he was invited by LG to review their OLED display, at their expense. Now I know, being a Fanboy, you don't realize how damming that is.

I've mostly stayed out of this, but wanted to add my experiences with Vincent.

I know Vincent for many years and have always found all of his information to be accurate and correct. Vincent has very strong technical knowledge and is a very very honest person.

He like all professional reviewers are invited to review TVs by all manufacturers. One of the things I like best is that he does not get his TVs loaned from the manufacturers, which is how most reviewers get their review samples.

At first I was not happy to see Vincent copy my trademarked name and most of how I operate my annual TV Shootout Evaluation event, but after seeing his TV Shootouts I must admit he does a very good job.

Again I know Vincent very well and we email each other and enjoy spending time together at CES and press conferences and whenever he visits NY so I can speak with a lot of personal and professional experiences. I never understand how anyone who does not really know a person can make such strong opinionated statements.

Well said Robert. Furthermore, Vincent should be welcome by all Blu-ray forum members; so much good stuff we can all learn from his expertise in video matters, our passion. ...And D-Nice too. ...And Shane (Sparechange) too.

And now is the best time.
