We are considering a DigiPak. 12-18 months later we would like to do DigiPak with the 1st, 2nd and UHD editions on it plus a new disc with 59.94 versions of the montage (We shot content at both frame rates), an HLG disc and a USB stick with all of the patterns on it. The USB would include ICtCp Dolby Vision content.
Hmmm,

Why not go with a clear case with 3 or 4 disk hubs, and the BD logo ?
Even a 4k disk is still a BD. Forget the black or blue cases.

ps: some of us hate digi's, as I feel the hard plastic hubs are too prone to breaking, esp. during shipping.

You’re welcome.

Given some of the contracted work for your upcoming Ultra HD Blu-ray disc, if you haven’t read it already, you might also be interested in this recent interview with Ian about GLOW…..

I assume it's dead on 60, but not being able to rip the disc and do a Mediainfo on its ass means I don't know for sure.

Anyone seen Last Tycoon in HDR on Amazon Prime? It's hard to put into words just how amazing the picture quality is. I could talk about how the colors pop, the razor sharp image, the depth, the unreal contrast, etc., but it still wouldn't do it justice. Those who aren't Prime members can still watch the first episode for free. Highly recommended.

I haven't, but I have seen American gods on prime and that was equally amazing. The story line partially involves a car crash seen (very explicit btw) and the picture quality is amazing. The sparks flying show what HDR can do.

Check it out. I would rate Last Tycoon ahead of several 4K blu ray discs in terms of PQ, and I rarely do that, as I generally prefer physical media.

Occasionally….not using my own though as I sold my last motorcycle some time ago. My ridin friends each have several bikes (which is really not that uncommon among the dedicated, some wives would say ‘nuts’) and they are kind enough to offer me a loaner whenever I feel ‘the need’.

Nevertheless even without my personal mount, I’m still prepared for the occasional 2-wheeled motorcycle adventure as I’ve kept all my modern riding gear, heck, not just modern but even the vintage helmets, Barbour ISDT wax jacket, etc. from thee old days – for the sake of personal memorabilia.

I’ll never sell any of that stuff. In retrospect , I wish I’d kept all the motorcycles I’ve owned over the years, but just not practical as they literally would have filled a 2-car garage.

More to the point: what frame rate IS Billy Lynn's on UHD then? And I did say I don't know for sure...

Geoff, I recall several pages ago on the Dolby thread you got a real kick out of qualifications I linked for an internship with Scott D. at Dolby Labs. On a lesser scientifically demanding note, I think it would be fabulous if we ever saw a Blu-ray.com forum member participate in this internship because I believe some of the younger members here still in college have the passion and talent to do so….
