It is an interesting concept, but uh, how will this work exactly. Who will be the superhero?

Kraven the Hunter on the big screen excites me. Mysterio I've never been a fan of.

Not all comic book films require a hero, something no studio seems to have realized yet except for Sony.

The hero will probably come from the public. Spiderman will probably take care of this problem in T.A.S. 3.

If they want it to be a successful hit with the masses they do.

A hero-less movie might be great, but $$-wise (the only thing studios care about) it's a losing prospect. It may not be a complete bomb, but it won't be a blockbuster.

Not necessarily, if it's well written and directed then I think there is a way around without having a hero all the freakin time. In the whole protagonist vs. antagonist view people go with and I agree lots of people like to root for some
"good" person in a film, but there could be a anti-hero or just a kick ass villain film with lots of great action and wonderfully scripted scenes that will make you forget all about some hero popping up. I think it's a fresh idea for the superhero er..super villain..films and it could still be a hit

I'd love to be proven wrong, but name me one comic movie without a hero that was a hit, $$-wise.

The original Sinister Six were: Dr. Octopus, Vulture, Electro, Kraven, Mysterio, and The Sandman.

The Ultimate version was the same except Green Goblin replaced Mysterio.

Preferably, I'd love to see an incarnation of The Green Goblin, Dr. Octopus, The Sandman, The Lizard, Electro, and The Vulture because Mysterio sucks!

Hoping Rhino was just a tool, don't want him to feature in this movie.

It may not mesh with the comics but my Sinister Six would be Green Goblin, Venom, Kraven, Lizard, Dr. Octopus and Alistair Smythe.

There's no way it's gonna be 1 male hero versus 6 male villains. Im assuming Black Cat will team up with Spiderman or she'll be one of the 6 villains.

So let me get this proposed series straight.

Amazing Spider-man
Amazing Spider-man 2
Amazing Spider-man 3
The Sinister Six
Venom
Amazing Spider-man 4

I thought the third film was going about the Sinister Six, what with the amount of time they devoted to "teasing" it in the second film, but its it really a film away from being the focus? That seems...well it makes the "world-building" in the second film seem even more detrimental.

I thought that they would finally bring the Sinister Six into the in The Amazing Spider-Man 3 too b/c like you said they were definitely teasing things at the end of The Amazing Spider-Man 2. However, from what I hear the premise of the next film is they are going to focus on
[Show spoiler]Peter's recovery
.

So that means that MJ will be sympathy banging Peter?

The movie should focus on how one can realistically jump into a relationship after a loved one dies rather than spending months in mourning.

Peter's recovery and Harry's redemption. To me, it seems to make more sense, especially at the end of Amazing 2 to have Sinister Six in the next film.

And considering the box office receipts for this film, they might change course and scrap the spin offs all together.
