I don't own it but bluray-disc.de list it not only as Region B but also 1080i (unknown if 50 Hz or 60 Hz but I'd bet it is the former). One of the comments on that page also has it pegged as an upscale (another indication for it being a 1080i50 release).

EDIT: Hmm, found a review on Media-Review.de which states it to be 1080p24. Deciazulado also states "confirmed" in the notes of the database entry so guess the bluray-disc.de entry is incorrect.Universum don't help the matter either since their own website says 1080i25...

So the feature is 1080p/24, but the extras (understandably) are 50Hz, which would be fine with me. It still sounds like this may or may not be region B locked. I'm not going to get my hopes up but it would be nice to confirm whether this is hard region B or region AB or region free.

Just to say that I'd add Cop Land to your database as the french Blu Ray offers the choice between the Director's Cut and the Theatrical Cut which the US BD doesn't.

The UK disc is in 1080i50, so it should be mentioned. Because many American flat screens and Blu-ray players can't play that.

Yeah I read that after my post. Big mistake on their part not doing it as good as it should. Hopefully the upcoming german disc is better overall besides the nice extras.

Sorry, but now you are misquoting me. I just quoted the former list. HD-Goofnut made the changes, but still needs to edit that part as well.

But I agree the new Warner/US versions are better. But since there were no trilogy boxsets that contain good transfers, the NL version was THE version to get if you want to buy the whole trilogy. The NL was better than that old Alliance boxset from Canada. But now Alliance has re-released a new boxset with the new releases that Warner also uses.

If it's 1080i, then it's the same as the NL blu ray that were released several months ago.
