Zulu looks decent, but the DNR is not mild by any stretch. It is caked in DNR, one of the worst examples on the Blu-ray format.

Good effort! Thanks!

PS: Didn't know The Devil Wears Prada and Black Hawk Down has better transfer elsewhere. I thought Black Hawk Down looks excellent already, interesting.

No, I have seen the worst example of DNR on BD and that is definitely the re-release of Predator. Zulu is certainly mild in comparison since there are a few waxy faces, but the background grain is still intact. Besides every DVD release of the film looks absolutely dreadful.

Here are a couple more:

Highlander (U.K.) has a documentary, interview, and trailer not found on the U.S. version.

DOA: Dead or Alive (CA) has DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1, but no extras, U.S. version has Dolby Digital 5.1 and a few extras.

The transfer for The Game is better than 99% of Universal's output, the only issue is that it is not taken from a bypass source so the colours are wrong.

Overall, I agree, but saying the level of DNR on Zulu is mild is going a bit easy on it. I would class it as moderate. I too have seen far worse (Predator: Ultimate Hunter Edition, some of the Star Treks, Patton etc.) because Zulu still retains a fair amount of detail, but faces are waxy throughout, in my opinion, and it has a scrubbed look. May I suggest that the wording be changed to "moderate DNR"? You are absolutely right that this is the best that the film has looked so far on home video.

Massive thanks for the list, by the way!

I see your point. I will change it to moderate instead of mild.

Bold has been added to international titles that are vastly superior to the U.S. version.
