I love that they are starting to take a step forward into the mythology of Superman instead of the the awful derailments it has taken the last few seasons. Everything is pretty much set up in Metropolis now except for the Talon set(Chloe's apartment) seriously the most pointless set in that show for a long time. They should get rid of Chloe, that awful actress who plays Lex's successor, and the pointless addition of a "human doomsday" this season.

Next season(if there is one but my thoughts are ratings will drop and it will get canned) they should add Perry Mason, bring Lex back, and make Jimmy and Lois regulars instead of being in every 3 episodes.

Since there are new show runners they should probably let Clark finally fly. Or revamp the show call it "Metropolis" and just make him Superman already. That would be cool. Why is it so hard to bring or keep Superman on tv or big screen!?

I have seen the first 2 episodes if the new season and so far they seem to be in trouble.
The girl that replace Lex she has got to go I can't stand her and it seem to still follow the same bad guy of the week formula..oh also Doomsday...come on who came up with that ideal to place him in the Smallville.

Even though it was a "freak of the week" episode I really liked yesterday's new episode. They finally made Erica Durance up to look like Lois Lane and the action seemed more appropriate.

I enjoyed it as well. The season is young and it is nice to see them go a different direction with the show.

He's flown before like when that nuke in season 5 was heading into space and he stopped it. But anyways, Jan 15, I really hope they don't mess the Doomsday thing up. So far so good in that he's not just a human, but I would've liked for him to be bigger and not just human-sized.

He morphs into Doomsday as well, he won't just be the same guy and him and Clark will duke it out.

I bet they're spending a great deal of time saving up their special FX budget.

Unfortunately if he kills Clark there will not be the same impact as no one in Metropolis knows all the good Clark has done. A city is not going to mourn over someone they don't know.

I know. I'm still a little worried about the story as well. It's been going okay so far though. Clark and Doomsday will eventually have a big fight but will it be Doomsday or Davis Bloome?

As seen by the most recent episode, it was not Davis Bloome.

I'm VERY impressed by their handling of the special FX makeup.

I do think the showdown will happen but it will not end in a death of either character. I think Clark will end up getting the best of Doomsday in there battle. Then Doomsday will end up leaving for a while and then return at a later date... if the season 9 rumors stand true. I am truely enjoying this season.

That episode was very creepy at the end. Chloe smiles (possibly due to Brainiac's presence in the Fortress) and some bald guy (obviously LEX) is watching the wedding video in some strange place with all these connections to his head.

Doomsday won't kill Clark so early. I'm surprised he transformed so early though. I wonder what they have planned for him for the rest of the season. The Legion of Superheroes will be making an appearence next year.

I too am really enjoying this season...I was bumbed to see that there would be no more new shows this year but then I realized that it is really only a little over a month and a half.

Anyways, I was glad to finally see the Clark and Lois love thing start. My wife wanted Clark and Lana to end up together but finally realized that they weren't right for each other.
