Hi everyone, I received the Blu-ray box set today and thought I'd post pics for everyone who will shortly be getting their's but can't wait any longer to see what the contents are like! I'm tempted to pick this up but holding off a bit until they announce the first 5 seasons will come to BR as well (I'd like to have the entire series on the same format)

is the BLU RAY box smaller than S6??.... they make slimmer ones now as i got Prison Break S3

Yeah, the box is about 3/4 that of the season 6 box. Not really that fussed about matching with other seasons, just as long as i have the episodes :P

I hope the other 5 are brought out sometime, I hate not being able to watch them, just because I love Blu-ray haha

Unfortunately, with 7 episodes crammed on one disc (6 eps on disc 3) the picture quality is somewhat meh. No better, no worse than season 6. Audio is ok I suppose too. Run of the mill 5.1 surround. Can't help wondering if they'd look better if Warner spread them out a bit more :S

Season 6 also had a couple more episodes due to the writer's strike.

Mmm I thought that might pee a few people off! I imagine most will simply not use them. I'm not fussed at all myself, it came like that so that's how it'll stay

Supernatural s3 will be the same no doubt... as Sarah Connor was before.

i for one don't keep up with smallville
but my mom does so i might pick this up for her
along with one of those sub 200 dollar BD players comin later this year
she's not really that much into the whole hi def but if its cheap why not right?
but when Supernatural does come out i will be pickin that one up on day 1

Beautiful! Cant wait till Warner ships mine. Love the Bizarro pic on the pamphlet.

First thing I noticed was the same images on all the discs, as I think they all had different images in season 6. But I'm not gonna mind, because the beautiful Supergirl adorns them all. So all is forgiven.
