Update to - https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...0#post15006344

I’m informed that late last night for this thread we actually tallied a hair over 90,000 views (something like 90,020) to end the month of April, not bad at all for 30 days. Wondering if it was that Peanuts comic strip and related pupillary response that catalyzed the last minute pop in readership numbers? ….or maybe Waboman’s Willie Nelson quote on his birthday. Who knows? Geoff I'm hoping it was the Tour de Harvey video as they were blowing money at him at the end (lesson: wear eye protection to prevent a corneal abrasion).

Anyway, congrats to all for a pretty good month.

Speak to MGM, if it's their property then it's their call re: UHD on disc. Right now, they don't wanna know.

Elaborating more from 4-29-2018 - https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...s#post15006427

Sometimes the search engine for this forum isn’t successful in finding old posts with key word(s) when they’re buried deep down in a long post, but I’m pretty sure that somewhere on this forum in 2015 back when I was talking about SIGGRAPH 2015 (e.g. https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...5#post11142812) I know I posted these two related YouTube videos, so, in lieu of a quick direct link to an old post from '15, here they are again….
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkwemTY-XiY#t=40s

general overview….

I watched that clip and all I could think about was BBQ. I'm dying over here, Mr. Kotter. Throw another shrimp on the barbie, mate.

^ as an aside, they’ve started a project involving about 25 color professionals evaluating the theory of Judd-Vos offset calibration on RGB OLED v. that of reality. Results will be available for visitors to the color suite.
