Gamestop doesnt have any more codes, the only way to get one is asking, at least that is how I got mine. I wanted to get this game because of the Mic, but I might wait for it till hit $40, like warhawk. But also SOCOM will have trophies and Im becoming a trophy *****

Last night I played a couple hours as I took over the TV before 90210 started (gf was not happy but I told her I DVRed it lol so she went to do dishes). The patch erased my data but it did improve the menu lag a bit, didnt see much of a difference in connecting games it still took a couple minutes.

Its a bit slower, CoD4 still more realistic. Number of times ive found myself trying to shoot through small walls and rooftops forgetting the bullets arent going through. But overall im loving it.

For those who feel they are missing out I barely feel sorry for you. Having only played Socom 2 I've been waiting for this game for over a year. I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. As you can tell I have high expectations for this game and why shouldn't we, with COD4 setting a new standard for online shooters and IMO MGO is the best shooter to date. I just can't believe that there are all these Socom fanboys who will praise the game no matter what. Again, MGO is the best shooter IMO and I'll tell you why. Even COD4 is better than Socom. Trust me. Graphics = MGO is the best by far 4.5/5, then COD4 3.8/5, then Socom hmm 3.5/5 Sound/Audio = MGO easily 5/5, COD4 easily 4/5, and Socom's game sounds terrible 1.9/5 Gameplay = COD4 4.5/5, MGO 4.2/5, Socom 3/5 The only thing that Socom has going for itself is that it might be the only shooter out there until games like Resistance or Kilzone are released. However I warn you, I prefer MGO and I will not be getting Socom even though I loved Socom 2. After what we've had like COD4 and MGO I was expecting a new gaming expierience and Socom is not it. It's a been there and done that type of game. The game is not original enough for purchase. You were warned. If people are still playing Socom in 2009 I'll be surprised.

You lost me once you said MGO was better than COD4. To each his own, but I know a lot more people that think MGO is horrible than I do who said the same about COD4.

I am worried that SOCOM won't even compete with either though.

rainbow six 6 is a great game. i love it anyways. i will be getting socom as well when it releases next month. i already have my pre order on it.

I think COD5 gonna be a shocker tho, so much hate but just watch... treyarch gonn come through...
