i have 1080p and it makes it look bad, since its a 720 game.. anti aliasing everywhere, but socom was never about graphics.

the graphics are so so. passable but not a big deal. the aliasing does blow. i notice screen tearing and also lag "hiccups" every now and then. aside from that its a solid game. i thought it would bring me back to the socom 2 days but it is its own game. interesting experience. (random teamkill rooms are still very much alive lol)

COuldnt play last night after attempting to connect to a game for half hour i gave seeing it downloaded so slow I didnt get it installed till midnight. I have a 7mb connection so I know it wasnt on my side. Trying again now... Its been 10 minutes this time, no way to quit trying other than to restart?

Game is easily better than COD4 and the graphics are similar to R6:Vegas. Once they fix the load times and polish it up, it will be all good...

Finally figured how to change fire rate... amongst other things lol! LMAO damn im old school! Kept trying S1 and S2 layout lol helped once I read the controller settings in the options lol.

Don't worry, it just means you'll get to experience the craptacular server overload only once. We will have to eat it twice, with all the Qore people logging on at the same time.

Best time to play, 3am EST to 8am EST, but the horrendous load times suck the fun right out of this beta/demo.

So far I'm a little dissapointed with Socom. No, not because the server sucks right now but because MGO is the ultimate online expierience. The running looks lame in Socom and you don't have the ability to roll. I want a new gaming expeirience. Everything you do in Socom has been done before, the only thing that is good about Socom is that their objective games are pretty cool. I like extraction, capture, and demolision. However compared to MGO this game better get better quickly. Head to head comparison.

As of right now I strongly feel that MGO is the best shooter out there and even though I had high expectations for Socom it seems as if they cannot compete with MGO.

lol MGO online are you serious? Is there like 50 people that play that game? Socom is about community, and the community of players on the game instantly makes it better than MGO.. I would bet there are more people on the Socom beta right now than MGO.
