The Lobby System for GRAW2 was very good also. I loved hosting games all the time. Someone pissed you off you could put them on Spectate only or if they talked too much shyte you could Mute them and so on...

The lobby system was nice, but to be honest, I was pretty disappointed with the game. I was bored within an hour, I'm glad I only rented it.

Sorry, but there is no new info, this is just a rehash of old Socom:Confrontation info. The 2 "new" pics are just from the old E3 video clip.

The only thing that might be new is the release date June 15, but I wouldn't bet money on that, 1up has been far off with their dates before.

Over the Shoulder Camera View

We are very happy with the way the OTS camera view looks and feels in game. However, we know that many of the community members are apprehensive about this new camera mode. Both Fire Team Bravo and Fire Team Bravo 2 use the OTS camera, and it works great. I encourage all of you to give it a go if you have not already. Nevertheless, rest assured that Confrontation includes the classic camera mode as an option.

I haven't played SOCOM since the very first one and before it became an online phenom. This will be my first venture into the online world of SOCOM and I'm looking forward to it. I'm burnt out on COD4. I guess going through prestige all those times finally takes it's toll on you.

Yes, I know that quote from Slant Six well, but you are missing a very big point. OTS was never a part of Socom I, II, III, & CA were all true TPS and was one of the reasons why it stood above most other shooters.

So why did Slant Six waste time and resources doing something, OTS, that was not wanted or needed? Because they liked it? What ever their reason/s for doing OTS, you can see, in that very same thread you posted, that the vast majority disapproved and wanted the original TPS. Well, I guess we kind of got it...

But now will there be 4 POVs? OTS right, OTS left, TPS & FPS? Egad...will I have to switch to TPS every time or will it be a selectable option in the main menu? No one knows for now. Until I see some the TPS view and how it is implemented, bah, to Confrontation.
