i bought this game off my US account, now i cant play it anymore! wtf is up with that? it says, this content is not available for play on this account? i chould play it before, and my US account has been suspended whats up with all that?

dont know how to do that so no, i just didnt play it for a while, was waiting for the trophie update to release, and then i wanted to check again today, and it said that

I hadn't played this game in quite a while but, I logged in the other day to find all of my stats and rank have been reset.

This happen to anyone else?

I heard they were resetting everything when patch 1.3 comes out anyways..

Really? Oh well, I've quit playing until the patch comes out... It's a lot of fun, but I can't believe the couldn't get their shit together for this game.

If your US account has been suspended, I take it it has nothing to do with SOCOM and more to do with your US account being banned or suspended, you have to call them and find out I guess.

I wish they would've delayed this game until January or so so they could've worked out all the kinks.

Could you imagine, a mid january release ... no other competition ... game with no setbacks ...

That would of been ideal ...

Although they probably sold quite a bit when they did since they still came out before the rush of blockbuster titles ... its just biting themselves in the asses because of it.

i just got this game for $20 (traded in mercs 2 for it over the weekend). i hopped on, customized my dude, and played 3 or 4 matches. it was a lot of fun i must say. i didn't really have much of an idea of what i was doing since i don't know anything of game mechanics or map layouts. i got really lucky one game where i walked up behind two guys on the other team and blew them away before they knew it. didn't play much more than that cause im waiting for the patch, but i really can't wait much longer to play this game. very happy i got it!

With the reviews the game received, waiting a couple more months would have benefited them greatly. I can't imagine many people purchasing this game for a Christmas present when it has gotten such bad reviews. The initial purchase would probably be about the same given a later release date, but the residual sales and download content would have been a lot higher.

Socom is a fun game but there are so many things poorly done it just amazes me. The initial release was pretty buggy and crashed frequently but it's a lot better now. Lag is still an issue more so than on any PS3 game I've played. Then there's the general stupidity in numerous places such as no way to find your friends.

I can't believe that two years after launch people have to use their comment in the xmb to let people know which room to find them in. The long pause every time you have to select a channel is also very annoying.

Then you have the random team shuffle after each match where everyone has to switch back around. Apparently Slant6 didn't realize people like to play on the same team as their friends. While this is generally annoying, it's very frustrating when the room is full and there are no open slots for people to move to. You then have people telling others to leave so their friends can switch sides.

It's fun once you actually get to play but so many of the secondary items are so poorly done that I believe this was just rushed out the door.

This game hasn't been out for 2 years. An all that is getting fixed in v1.3... This is their first socom.. at least they are trying to fix it unlike zipper did...
