some people really should not be playing this game ..

my story :

situation Kasbah Breach ..
im hte last T alive against 3 seals .. i have about half health after a lame grenade blew up outside the wall i was standing next too and took my health ..
its aabout 2 mins to go ...
i am camped on the south stairs where i can see the bomb plant and can watch the center of the building .. the breach behind me was still intact so no from behind worries ..
i see the guy run in to plant
i start shooting him from the stairs ( over the breach wall ) and then i see another guy come running around the tunnel and aiming right for me .. i aim at him ... fire a few shots and book up hte stairs . i run to hte hole in hte center nad drop straight in .. no i figure ill get shot to hell dropping in .. and i know hteres 3 guys so m,ight as well go for hte diffuse ...i manage to diffuse the bomb even though i practically landed on the bomb planters head dropping in ..
3 guys in the area and not a single one watched for me to drop in from above ..

my greatest round victory to date ..

I am in @NUTZ@ clan we play every night as well.. I usually do not play on weekends.. but most weeknights..

How are you guys doing in trophies in this game? I only got SMG and Assault rifle elite for weapons, and already got the other gold.

Does this game still have issues online? I recently bought the bundle mainly for the headset and was thinking of keeping it instead of trying to sell it. IGN has a bad review but i dont trust that site anyway. Is this game really that addicting?

the online is fixed for the most part .. there are still the clan things missing that were supposed to be there but as far as gameplay is concerned i have almost zero issues .. on occasion there will be some lag but its rare these days .
and yes for me this game is super addicting but i always prefer 3rd person over FPS so its not liek theres a lot of competition

Im just an average guy in our clan, so I dont have many trophies, and didnt play it as much for the first couple months after release ... some of the other guys got alot of trophies tho

i need about 200 kills for assualt 1st class
and im halfway to SMG 3rd class ( but i only need the kill requirment across a ll classes )
this socom is the first one ive actually used the SMG's and shotguns ( though shotgun not much even yet )
i have about 5 other trophies so far .. ill never get most of them though as i rarely ever get MVP's and noone really lets you get extractions as they always kill themself to prevent it .. so if anyone ever gets platinum in this id be very suspicios if it wasnt with the help of people ..

Really under what name do you play?

I will get the platinum.. I am around 3k kills and you need 5k, which is what I see as my last requirment for platinum.. I got most every other requirment and most gun classes closed now, so I can use my best weapons.. M4A1, HK7, F90, and 552 are probably my best weapons, and I purposley made those weapon classes the last to get elite on so I could get hard ones out of the way.

I am decent player, I believe my MVP percentage is around 20%, but I also play in a good clan.. most nights we do not lose a map espically when we have majority of members on one side..

20% wow im around 4%

i rarely ever get MVP's im one of those guys who is typically only as good as the rest of my team . i rarely ever stand out in a room ... that said though i do have as many MVPs on confrontation as i probably ever had across socom 1 2 and 3 ...

dont you guys mainly play on the West 1 server? (i think i saw a post or something with that in it)

We jump around.. never really on the same server. We used to only play in US WEST 1 for Socom 1-3 / CA.. but nowadays we just look for servers we can all get in...

yeah, we're kind of the same way when it comes to the servers. though, we tend to stick to the AvE or EU English rooms cause we do have a few clan members from England. Most, if not all but a couple are first time SOCOMers, so we are still learning. we mainly play elimination since most people are focusing on their weapons trophies, but we have started playing more medleys here of late. unfortunately, all i have left is the elite MG trophy for the weapons and i dont see me getting that finished anytime soon. i cant hit shit with those damn guns, the MK48 isn't to bad, but the others suck! do you guys focus on the medleys or do you just play whatever?

i had to make a new clan last night so that i had access to a suppressed sniper rifle .. now i can get my stealth medal .. i wish there were better sniping maps though .. honestly none of them are TRUE sniper levels .. yes urban and quarentine can be good to a point for sniping .. but wheres my blizzard sniping level

sorry but i hate camping if you suck at hte game . .guess what youll never get better just camping all the time .. its one thing to camp when you are outnumbered 4-1 or something .. but from hte start of a game its lame ..even when i snipe i still move around every so often ..

that isnt a stab directly at you BTW

Camping is a strat.. but can be beat by good opposing strat.. we mainly run and gun, but have members on our team that hold our backs and camp...

Why did you have to create a new clan for a suppressed sniper? Everyone gets the Mercs SASR with suppresion, wether you are in a clan or not.. there is no Seal suppressed sniper that I know of.
