How many teams wouldn't take, essentially, a guaranteed trip into the playoffs.

If you're asking which of these I'd take...

Option 1 - A playoff appearance and a 12 win season every year for about 15 years resulting in just 1 Super Bowl win. - Aka Peyton Manning

Option 2 - Making the playoffs about half the time with typically 8-10 wins a season but winning 2 Super Bowls. - Aka Eli Manning or Roethlisberger

I'd take option 2 and I think almost anyone saying they wouldn't is lying. Not saying those guys are more talented than Peyton, but I'm sorry, as an NFL fan I'd rather my team win twice the rings and have some bad years over being consistently good but always coming up short.

I know Peyton's teams were favored in all three Super Bowls he played in too and went 1-2 in those games. The only one he beat was a Bears team led by Rex Grossman.
