Falcons have 2nd interviews with Todd Bowles (Wednesday) and Teryl Austin (Thursday) this week. I'm guessing they will wait until early next week to see if Seattle loses and Dan Quinn is available for interviews. But if the Seahawks make the Super Bowl, I bet they go with Bowles or Austin.

Sounds like ground-n-pound team to me now.

Maybe gonna grab a RB? I have no idea what that team needs lol.
They need a QB if they want to go places. So they are going to have to grab one in FA or trade...or draft

Again not sure why rex liked the same position..but it seems like he took the first job offered

Trust me, you don't want Todd Bowles unless you've got some stud defensive players. Just look at him in Philly 2 years ago, where he had nobody and looked confused most of the time. Then he goes to Arizona where they have one of the best D's in the league and looks like guru.
Buyer beware on Bowles!

Rex is a bunghole!

I think Quinn is going to the Jets.

It had been rumored for some time that if the Broncos had another early playoff loss then John Fox's job was in jeopardy, and now it's official:

I don't think Atlanta was going to pull the trigger on Ryan until the end of this week at the earliest.

Hear that? It's the sound of his agent's phone ringing off the hook. It's a good thing Rex took a job when he did. I'm not saying Fox would want the Buffalo job, but it's one less possibility.

The question is would a team or teams be willing to wait another two weeks for Quinn if the Seahawks make the Super Bowl? Teams aren't allowed to agree to contracts with coaches whose teams are still in the playoffs so if multiple teams want Gase then they would have to wait until February to make a hire, and one team could be left without the coach they clearly wanted. It's possible Quinn could decide on what job he wants and have his agent get the contract done and inform other teams he's not interested in them, but he could also say he doesn't want to make a decision while his team is still in the playoffs.

He's from Morristown, so he's from the area. He also used to work for the organization. I think that's his most likely destination.

It also wouldn't be the first time a HC candidate gives the informal nod to an organization that he's choosing them. I'm pretty sure he conducted a bunch of interviews during the bye week, and knows where he prefers to go. Now the Denver opening certainly throws a wrench in everything, so that's certainly an unforseen factor.

Peyton and Harbaugh together would have been a train wreck. There is no way they could have coexisted, they are both complete control freaks. Harbuagh realized that and it's why the 49ers only showed mild interest in Manning.

Naw they could have lasted 3 years. Truth is Peyton's always been about records not rings if he wanted that 49ers. Even if he picked Denver cut his pay. Let's be honest he's gotta make 10 plus a year from commercials. So there's more he could have done.

QB will be addressed for sure, but I'm sure we'd like to see EJ develop. This will be his last chance in western New York. Good kid and easy guy to root for, but we want to see results.

With Roman it will certainly be a power run offense. What we need the most is a guard. I'm hoping Roman can bring Iupati with him via free agency.

Now Manning just needs to get a full time job at Papa John's. Then the Broncos will be good.

Denver's problems are much deeper than their QB... especially with all of those free agents looking for a payday.
