Fletcher was already set to be a free agent so no need to worry about that mess coming back next year. If we can get Byron Maxwell we'll be off to a good start.

I don't see Johnson being traded. I think they'll shop him around for a week or so but quickly realize there's no market for him due to his salary and end up releasing him.

Hmmm, even with a league worst pass defense last year, we swept ODB, and spilt with Desmond. So it will be intersting to see what happens when we get some real players back there.

I know I'm interested to see where Johnson will land! I think he's got plenty left, especially if he doesn't have to be the "the guy". He could give the right team some excellent match ups headaches for the opposing defense.

Who's Kiko Alonso? That's quite a move for the Bills' offense if they pull it off. Thanks guys, now we don't have to worry about stopping Shady twice a year.

Done deal! Wow! Well, the good news is the Eagles must be gearing up for a power move, because they've already shed almost $20mil in cap space.
Next they will be releasing Trent Cole I'd imagine! Which should bring their total cap space to about $40million!

I love Kiko, but I also really like this trade. It makes a lot of sense for both teams.

Trent Cole has already been cut. So soon they will be able to make a real splash move such as Ndamukong Suh or Greg Hardy.

It makes no sense for the Eagles. McCoy is still one of the top backs in the game and Kiko had season ending surgery last year.

McCoy was going to count $12mil against the cap this season. Last year showed that if he doesn't have primo blocking he can't make something out of nothing. Not to mention all the east-west running he does. Chip wants his guys running straight ahead. Chris Polk as proven he can do that, and at a much cheaper cost.

Nope, not yet, but it will happen over the next few days.
And we really don't need(or want) either of those guys. Secondary and LB will be addressed.

One reason we traded Kiko is his history of knee injuries. While a great LB, there are some who question his longterm durability.

Polk and Sproles will make a pretty good 1-2 punch! Much like cutting MeSean Jackson, this is going to be tough, but in the long run I like the move.
While McCoy was still pretty young(in RB years) he's had quite a few touches, so far.
Make no mistake it was a cost saving move, and the LB is just for depth.

That trade just made me go from a Chip Kelly believer to absolutely having no faith in him... But it also brought a smile to my face because he may go all in and trade up with us for Mariota. Titans FO, for the love of god, keep a poker face and pretend we are hellbent on taking Mariota at #2. This can set us up for the future if Chip does a dumb trade like that.

And I know all about Alonso. Total beast of a kid. Very young and probably has a bright future. But you just traded away your superstar RB and probably angered a huge portion of your fan base (I'm willing to bet 90% of Eagles fans don't even know who Alonso is).

Maybe he saw what I saw with CJ though... After 2009 (CJ2K season) I wanted us to trade him away for McCoy and a draft pick. Wouldve been a great decision, but our FO has no balls.

So props to Chip for having balls, but I think this is a horrendous move. Kiko played 0 games last season... Idk how he'll recover and if he's just gonna be an injury prone guy.

This also screams "homerism" to me. Chip wants his Oregon boys.
