IF the 4 game suspension sticks, I can see the Pats starting 1-3, beating only the Jags, losing to the Steelers, @ Buffalo, then losing @ Dallas....

IF they don't recover from that, then that first round draft pick can be a pretty high pick

I read his Salary for 2015 is $7 million. Does it affect any bonuses he has, or is set to receive for this year?

FWIW I think it is a tad excessive, but you have to know that if you are caught doing something that even hints at jeopardizing the integrity of the game the hammer is going to come down hard.

I found this part interesting:

IIRC, two of the Colts ball were recorded at less than 12.5 at half time, but they were still north of 12psi. Keep in mind, that I don't believe any of this was written down, but rather based upon the officials "recollections."

As for the punishment, no way the 4 games stick. I'm not sure what avenues the team can take in terms of their penalties, if any.

If he fights it then it will become even a bigger deal and harm his image even more.

I'd trade my starting QB for an entire following season, and 3 years of first round picks if the skins could win a Super Bowl I don't care if it was the most tainted in history after the fact. I'll take it

I would hope the pats make this as bloody as possible with the NFL...I hope based on that flimsy report. No way 4 sticks...Will get dropped to 2 after appeal. Hargrove? IIRC got 8 games for bountygate...and only wound up serving like 2-3 I think?
