My opinion is Romo would have won Superbowls easily on either Staubach's or Aikman's teams and neither would have won shit with how crappy the Cowboys have been alongside Romo. I, for one, believe the Cowboys have been so bad alongside Romo that there isn't a QB in the league who would have won with these pathetic bunch of sucks. Blaming Romo for the Cowboys' failures has always made me roll my eyes.

As to Rodgers I consider him easily top 5 all time, but I'd have to think long and hard about if he's #1 or not. I do think it's a fact he's in the conversation.

Mariota will be better short term and Winston will be better in the long term. It'll be a few years before we know for sure.

Should've gone all in and sucked even harder like we did. Had a golden opportunity to lose to us and you guys blew it and won. I almost had a heart attack on that last play when we almost scored. And our whole stupid fan base wanted to win! One more win and we wouldn't have Mariota, so they can suck it.

FWIW I'm on record saying I liked Winston as an NFL QB more than Mariota. I believed Mariota would be a bust in the wrong system and was worried Whiz would be a bad match for him.

But Yoda has already learned how to throw from the pocket... He's only rushed five times in three games, I believe. It's pretty incredible how fast he's learned and how well he's played behind a truly horrible OL (bottom 5 no doubt) and horrible team altogether. He singlehandedly made us relevant again. I don't expect many wins this season, but the future is bright.

As for Winston... He's looked pretty awful for the most part, but it is too early to say he will always suck. I think he'll be good in the long run, but there is absolutely no doubt the fan base has to be upset at the moment... especially after that week 1 beat down Mariota put on them.

Literally the only himg that concerns me about Mariota (other than our OL getting him killed) is his deep ball. He missed three open receivers deep against the Colts. Luckily he overthrew them rather than under-throwing and getting it picked. I think he can improve, but it's possible he'll never have a good deep ball, which limits him as a QB. Although all the people who keep saying he just dinks and dunks... It's pretty on par with what Brady, Rodgers, Peyton do.

If you're thinking Mariota is going to fade because of guys like RG3 and Kaep, think again... because like I said, Mariota is actually passing from the pocket and not running a gimmicky offense. And he's doing it on a horrible team. Kaep had the best roster in the league when he was lighting it up.

Mariota is smarter, a harder worker, and more competitive than both RG3 and Kaep combined. Not worried at all. We finally have a QB. Now it's time to build around him.

What's funny is that was the exact opposite going into the draft lol. Everyone said Winston was more ready now and Mariota could be better long term if he could play the pro style game. See Winston was supposed to be better short term because he was "pro ready."



And I think we can all agree that Carson Palmer is the best USC QB to come out of recent years. Leinert, Butt Fumble, John David Booty, and Matt Barkley are all busts.

It sounds like it could cause a postponement of the Eagles-Redskins game. Both teams have a bye in week 8 so it would likely be made up then. A decision is supposed to be made Saturday.

Edit: The NFL has said the Eagles-Redskins game will be played Sunday as scheduled.
