How could anyone get OTA signals when they don't live in the market? Again, the purpose of Sunday Ticket is to be able to watch games when you're not in the market.

I'm haven't been talking about people receiving Sunday Ticket in local markets, not sure why you keep going back to that..? And, also, to refute your general point of "it has to be on in regular tv in the local markets.", this used to not be true. Up until 2015, the game wouldn't have been shown in the local market if the game wasn't a selllout. Not sure how often that happened.

I actually agree with you here. This could be their "out" when explaining to upset customers who might call in to complain. That would definitely eliminate the need for any other verbiage around the time of the game. They could simply say, "Hey this yahoo game is part of the other restrictions apply rule!" and be done with it.

I was just saying you cant use slow internet as an excuse.

The "blackout rules apply" part wouldve come in obviously to my comment in other yrs - not now since the rule is toast - there actually were 0 blackouts last yr.

Titans were my pick in my suicide loser league this week. Don't love picking home teams to lose, especially after how bad the Falcons looked last week, but I can't see any QB succeeding with that o-line protecting him.

Sounds like this might be the end of the road for Harvin. He has another significant injury, and is reportedly contemplating retirement.

Dude's dogged it for the latter part of his career, time to hang it up. Quite the mercurial player he is.

The report of him contemplating retirement is apparently untrue, but I don't think it matters. His days of being a playmaker are over. I would love to eat my words, but I don't see it happening. He may have 1 or 2 big plays left in him, but I don't see anymore teams counting on him enough to give him a roster spot.

It might end up being a situation where Percy wants to keep playing after the season but nobody wants him. Percy's on his 4th team and his brief time with the Jets was the only time where he didn't have some sort of controversy. He's got major ability but he's never played a full season and has had major issues with his teammates to the point where it might not be worth dealing with him.

And in his time with us, he was only on his best behavior cuz he knew he had to in order to parlay that into a new contract somewhere else i.e. BUF.

There won't be a mutiny in Buffalo. We'll handle our business Sunday and then hopefully start to heal up over our bye week. We have a big three game stretch coming where we plan to start our run. Take it one game at a time.

I know Mariota will want to play because he's a competitor, but he should take 3-4 weeks off before he plays again. Unfortunately, we have an idiot calling the shots, so he may be forced to play.

This is exactly what I was worried about before the season. Tried telling everyone we had the worst OL in the league.

Mariota still needs to get rid of the ball faster on some of those throws, but it just seems like he has less time in the pocket than any QB.

Of course, this wouldn't be as much of an issue if Whiz would call designed rollouts for him. But that'd be too much to ask of the Whiz. Also our TEs don't chip pass rushers before they run their routes. This has been discussed on the radio. We're the only team that doesn't do it. Makes sense... We have a horrible RT and we can't even get a TE to help him out. Cmon...

This team is pathetic, top to bottom.

Hard to say.

Several weeks before the draft I said that we'd definitely take Mariota just based on the fact that it probably buys Whiz and Webster an extra year.

Whiz should be on the hot seat, but Webster should've been gone long ago and we're still stuck with the loser. Our ownership is clueless and probably wouldn't fire Whiz. He's under a 5 year contract, which just blows my mind that we would've ever offered such a long term deal.

If he forces Mariota to play and gets him killed, he'll have to be on the hot seat.

In games Mariota doesn't play, I want us to lose. I'm already in tank mode.

I like our chances to retake the division lead. Giants receivers are all ailing. Sam Bradford is a pick magnet, he'll give the game away to the Panthers.
