I couldn't agree more. I don't need some raving lunatic out there, but he's so damned stoic/calm, that he appears almost as lifeless as his team was last night.

The rumor has it they were going to cut Geno, but then Petty hurt his shoulder so they kept him on. I turned the game off, but my buddy was saying that he clearly hasn't matured as evidenced by his demeanor on the sideline during the game. But right, bottom line roll Petty out and see if he can do the same in a real game as he does in a preseason game. He for sure ignited the offense during the PS games when he came in so might as well give it a shot as we couldn't possibly play any worse than we're playing now.

I think with the technology we have at our disposal, which will only get more refined through the years, every play in question should be reviewed.
Use the preseason to work on time limits.
For me, the correct call > time constraints

Handling judgement calls like pass interference would kind of be a slippery slope. What is pass interference to one person might not be to another. Sometimes they are an obvious missed call like we saw with Julio Jones this past Sunday, but they aren't always so clear cut.

Meant to insert non-judgement calls in there.
I agree it's not a perfect system, as the review process can only start with a call on the field.

Sure but in the last 2 mins of games obvious penalties should be called

if they open it up to review flags they wouldn't use it to call ticky tacky penalties

I don't understand why they didn't cut him earlier this year when the abuse allegations came out. If your kicker's actions are negatively affecting your team you cut them. It's not a position that should ever put the organization in a negative light. I believe the Giants and NFL hadn't seen the police reports before today, but it shouldn't matter. The Giants owner said that Brown admitted to abusing his wife in the past, and at this year's Pro Bowl the league had to move Brown's wife (who was in the process of divorcing him) to a different room because Brown harassed her multiple times. He'll get released soon, but it should have happened months ago.

Looks like Brown won't be making the trip to London. Maybe this is the beginning of the end for him?
