There's a reason the Seahawks are so hated, they always seem to get the good end of the questionable calls that decide games. Plus they have poo stains like Richard Sherman on their team.

They are like a raw nerve ready to snap at anything and then go what?

He is a decent play by play caller but this job obviously is not a fit for him, I don't expect them to keep him on board past this season unless they are forced by contract.

Gruden continuously try's to create a back and fourth with him and he just kills it dead every time, way to dry and emotionless almost like a robot next to him. With how games have been bad for the most part on Mondays this season it just makes it all more apparent, hopefully they part ways after the season is done.

my friend, even in my team's most dire moments (Jamarcus Russell, etc) I always told myself "well at least we don't wear orange and brown".

Hopefully that referee crew gets suspended, they were an absolute embarrassment at the end of the half and deserve to be punished.

BUF got totally hosed last night and it made the NFL look even worse cuz yet another ref debacle occurred on national television. What made it worse, is that minutes after, Dean Blandino posts on Twitter saying they got two calls wrong. Hmm, aren't the refs supposed to confer with the head office in NY when there is a questionable call? There was a decent amount of time before the penalties were called to where they could have gotten things right/sorted out but didn't. If Blandino was out on Twiiter posting, then why didn't he get a hold of the officiating crew and lay down the law? This league gets more and more laughable by the game. This type of stuff kills my love for this game.

I totally understand, I'm getting there myself. It started two years ago for me and I can feel my interest slowly beginning to wane which just plain sucks.

The only time the refs can confer with New York is on replay reviews. There's nothing New York can do on blown penalty calls.

Ahh, my bad. Just seems like there was PLENTY of time to get this whole situation sorted out and called correctly and they blotched so many aspects of it.

Also, don't tell me Sherman didn't realize that he was WAY offsides and couldn't have pulled up before he nailed Carpenter on the leg. Total dirty play by a smart yet dirty player.

they're human I guess but some of these calls are so obvious. We've all had our teams screwed one way or the other. I still think the Tuck game is bullshit and that was 15 years ago.

I agree, but having so many blown calls on a national stage like this doesn't bode well for anyone.

Make every call challengable.

Teams would still get only up to 3 challenges so still need to use wisely.

The San Diego ballot initiative to raise hotel taxes to build a new stadium and convention center for the Chargers failed miserably, with yes votes only garnering 41% of the vote, well below the 2/3 majority required to pass. Now we'll see what the Chargers choose to do. They have the option to move to LA and share a stadium with the Rams, or they could continue to work towards a solution to stay in San Diego.

What do you think is going to happen? It's always a shame to see a city lose their team.

I have no idea. Chargers owner Dean Spanos wants to stay in San Diego, but I don't know if he'll be willing to spend $1 billion+ of his own money to build a new stadium. I don't think he wants to move to LA and become in essence a tenant of the Rams, so he'll keep trying to figure out a solution to stay in San Diego.

One possibility for the Chargers could be Las Vegas. Oakland is working on a proposal to keep the Raiders and the NFL and Raiders would prefer to keep a team in Oakland, so if something gets worked out the Chargers could potentially get the Raiders spot in Las Vegas. At this point I have no idea what will happen.
