Small markets? The Chargers have been in San Diego for 56 years.

San Diego is the 2nd most populated city in California, we have 1.5 million people in the city proper & not accounting for the suburban areas. Only LA has a larger population with a little over 4 million.

That's an absolutely absurd way of thinking.

The NYJ say hello.

Schaub wasn't bad in HOU, but man, once the wheels came off it was an effing trainwreck.

It does when the team is part of how the city has identified itself since the 1960s.

I have always considered Jerry to be one of the best owners in the business. If not the best. He loves that team. He loves the players. He loves the fans.

His problem is that since the salary cap era he has mostly been a horrific GM. He's way too involved at times... because he's incapable of delegating. It's admirable, but it has held that team back time and time again.

I will say with the way they've built that OL through the draft and the way they've been relatively smart with FA signings over the past several years, it makes you think he's starting to adapt... or at least willing to take the advice of those around him.

And that's why the team went 13-3 this year and appears to have a bright future.

I don't care who wins this match up as long as the winner loses the following week to Atlanta.

Agree with this 100%.
I can only hope, as a division rival, the old Jerry resurfaces.
