I get all the love for the draft, but it's so damned anticlimactic to me. Not to mention the fact that it's a weeknight and it's only the first round now (thanks to Baddell), my interest has waned a bit.

I agree; I like the old format better.

After the 2nd round, my interest is definitely limited. I'm not going to make arrangements to see the other rounds.

I like the new format. Not really concerned about the 4th round on, at least not enough to watch. So showcasing the first three rounds works well for me!

I typically take the Friday after the 1st Round off.

I love the draft. I can't miss it!

I recall 2016 First Round... I was in class that night. No way I was going to miss it anyways, so I sat in the back with my notebook opened following every minute of it. There were a whole bunch of us doing this.

I agree, we would have lost to the Raiders if Carr had played but don't act like the Texans lose in the first round every year. We are 3-1 in the first round. Ok, looking back at that one loss, an EMBARRASSING loss to the Chiefs 2 years ago, and I guess you could say that the O'Brien coached Texans are not good. Before him, we were undefeated in the first round.

Lions fans, what do you think of this hire? Godsey was horrible here in Houston as an OC even though I think some of that blame goes to O'Brien. It's interesting to see that he is going to coach on the defensive side. Maybe that is something he will handle much better?

Of course he does, it could be his last NFL contract. Fact of the matter is that he's 30 years old and no one will sign a WR that age to a contract that long.
