The only way the Giants move on from Eli anytime soon is if he gets seriously hurt or decides to retire. They may draft a QB fairly early this year because Eli is 36 and the only QB on their roster so it's time to start thinking about the future, but Eli should be the Giants QB for at least a couple more years.

It's funny that when Detroit's GM was hired he said he had a zero tolerance policy when it came to domestic violence and gun offenses and in his first 15 months he signed two players with recent gun convictions (Andrew Quarless and Orson Charles, both of whom ended up getting cut before the season) and now is publicly stating interest in Mixon. If he wants to sign players with those issues that's fine, but he shouldn't be talking about a zero tolerance policy and then almost immediately going against what he initially said.
