Yeah who needs a starting QB. You can make the playoffs with a great O and a garbage D but other way is much harder!

Pens are in Washington tonight so you're good there.

They have two QBs on the roster that are serviceable. They need protection to maybe stand and make a pass. Build up the defense in a offense-first division and be able to compete.

Jimmy G has had one good half season with Pats and suddenly he's the next greatest thing? We've been down this road before with other Pats QBs.

Zero clue what the Titans will do tonight, but I suspect we will do everything in our power to trade back from #5.

WR and CB are our biggest needs, but I always disagree with drafting based on need.. unless it coincides with drafting the best player available.

I don't know if he's the next best thing but I think he could be a damn good QB. Better than a few starters in the NFL. Brock is garbage and Cody is a Back up at best. I mean they barley won 1 game. The protection problem is all on the browns letting a great O line walk.

Indeed. Brian Hoyer, Ryan Mallet, Matt Cassel ...

No thanks. Not for what BB & the Patriots apparently want for him.

The Browns have too many needs to be giving away a bunch of picks for Jimmy G (or to trade up for a QB in this draft). I would like to see the Browns use their 1st 3 picks on defense.

Brian Hoyer was the best QB the browns have had in a decade. Cassel was a pro bowler for the chiefs and mallet was traded for a 7th round draft pick so not sure anyone really expected much from him.

I wouldn't mind Williams, Foster, or Lattimore on the team. Hoping for the best. We need it!

Cleveland drastically improved their oline in free agency. So, Cody, who did remarkably well, for someone who Hue thought needed a few years holding a clipboard before seeing playing time, as the QB with the worst oline last season could be better/serviceable this season. It's not Cleveland are playoff ready in the next few years anyway, so let's not throw away picks to reach for a QB on a team that could make Weeden seem like a good QB. If they can improve their defense, which cost them a few games last year, they could win 4-6 with Kesslar or Oesweilar this year. Depending on they do and if there are any better QB prospects in next year's draft, they can go for a reach. They are in a good position where they don't need to reach for a QB this year. They have been impatient with finding a franchise QB that they make the wrong decision or don't let one develop for 2-3 years before looking for someone else.

The PIANO MAN!
So much PRESSURE on teams to make the right picks. The wife just came in and I figure that I'd TELL HER ABOUT IT. "It's Draft Night girl!" She says, "I ain't no UPTOWN GIRL!"

Damn, SHE'S GOT A WAY, huh? SHE'S ALWAYS A WOMAN, but I do appreciate her HONESTY. She has such a NEW YORK STATE OF MIND! For years, she's been saying, "It's MY LIFE." I'm like, "YOU MAY BE RIGHT, but you know that I've loved you JUST THE WAY YOU ARE for THE LONGEST TIME." I guess it's just a MATTER OF TRUST on my part.

AND SO IT GOES, she says, "I'm MOVING OUT!" I ask, "Where will you go?"
She replies, "VIENNA"

I fear Williams lacks separation. I see him as a red zone target and not much more. Speed wise he reminds me of DGB. I think Williams ends up being an average WR. I'd take him at 18. Definitely not at 5.

Would consider Foster at 18, but the dude seems like an idiot based off his problems recently.

Lattimore would be my pick at 5 if it weren't for the hammy issues.

I want us to trade #5. If we stick at 5, I'd take Adams. Safest pick at the top of the draft IMO.

Had no idea the draft was outdoors on the Rocky steps. Also had no idea that the NFL built a fake replica of the museum columns so they could hold the draft at the bottom of the steps. Kind of strange.
