The Conley pick....i hope we did our homework on him and he checked out 100%. I know he passed a lie detector test. Was Carr getting too biblical for the Raider image?

The idiotic Bears ruined our plan and we were forced to pick. WR is such a huge need that we obviously felt the need to reach a bit. And it turns out, Davis at 5 was hardly a reach. Williams went at 7 and Ross at 9. 0% chance Davis would've been around at #18.

I have maintained for months that Davis is the best WR in the draft, so I can't complain.

We got the #1 WR in the draft and an interesting CB prospect with some serious playmaking abilities.

WR and CB were our two biggest needs and they were addressed appropriately, I suppose.



How exactly are we losers? Bears are obviously the idiots of the draft. Texans and Chiefs make sense to be losers since they gave up a bunch to move up.

Although I think in the Texans case, it was worth the risk. Didn't understand Mahomes at all.

We stayed put and took the #1 WR and a top 5 CB prospect who will be returning kicks and may get some touches on offense. How is that losing? They could bust and in that instance it would be losing, but you can only really say the Bears are losers right now.

Raiders are dumb for taking that risk this early too IMO. It'll probably pass and he'll avoid charges, but still... pretty iffy.

Elite WRs are hard to come by so I don't see a problem taking one at #5. I think Tennessee did pretty good overall with their two picks.

Conley can be very good. I think this whole rape thing will pass and the pick will be safe. But the guy clearly needs to hang around better people and stay out of possible disaster.

Exactly. I love our picks. Davis is a beast and Jackson is as dynamic a player as another Jackson: Desean. His speed is gonna be a game changer in a lot of situations for us.

The more I think of the Browns draft the more I actually love it. I mean, yeah they still don't have a great QB situation but they're playing it smart by not forcing anything and upgrading the rest of the team in the process and also getting another first round pick next year. Just look what happened with the Redskins with RG3 and what will end up happening with the Rams and Goff. My Rams have very little draft capital and holes everywhere. Whoever eventually becomes their QB might not be in such a bad situation.

True, however they are showing that they can make credible and well-calculated decisions and show that there's progression. Free agents won't be as hesitant to look at Cleveland.

Defense Defense Defense that needs to be Detroit's entire draft if a pick isn't defense ill be upset and consider the draft a failure

With the exception of trading back, I wanted Adams at 5 and Howard at 18. Solely because they were the best players available hands down IMO.

Would've been amazing to get them, but I think our needs forced our hand a bit. Adams/Howard would've been incredible, but we'd still be in dire need of a WR and CB tonight with no 2nd round pick.

If you had a line then the titans would be golden, defense can be somewhat alleviated with a good offense especially with Murray controlling the ground game and Henry as change of pace back.

Are you talking about OL or DL? Because I'm not sure what you watched last year, but the Titans have a consensus top 5 OL right now. Most consider it to be #2 behind the Cowboys. PFF graded us as #1, but I don't put all my stock in their flawed rating system.

We easily have the best OT duo in the league though.

Then consider it a failure because not every pick is going to be defense. We need a TE that can actually be good.
