The two best games of his career came against the Titans... he's mostly sucked the rest of the way or padded his stats in garbage time.

His Thursday night performance against us last year was one of the worst QB performances I've ever witnessed in person. Yet he padded his stats in garbage time and had a solid FF outing.

So how did everyone's team do. Pats 2nd string offense was pretty good definitely some guys gonna make the team if they keep it up. That Austin Carr catch in the end zone was boss. 2nd string d struggled but out side of a couple blown coverages wasn't horrible. Jacksonville looks like another losing year they struggled in the beginning which was disheartening because they played 1st string guys.

Miami Dolphins 2nd round draft pick LB Raekwon McMillan from Ohio State looks to have torn his ACL and will be out for the season. He was seen on crutches with a brace after the game. Nothing official yet. He was injured a few minutes into the game. He was going to be the starting MLB. Behind him on the depth chart is pretty much nothing to speak of.

I liked the way Peterman played last night, but it was against the 3's. Have to take it with a grain of salt, but he showed some positive signs.

From what I've read Austin Carr has been an absolute stud in camp. The Patriots are already loaded at wide receiver and don't have a roster spot for Carr, so the only way to keep Carr (barring an injury) would be to cut or trade Amendola. Amendola's full $1.25 million salary is guaranteed so cutting him wouldn't be an ideal option, but the deal likely has offsets if he went to another team.

I wonder if Jones ends up getting cut. He's been awful since he was drafted, but you don't see second round picks get cut after one year very often.

Regarding the Ezekiel Elliott saga: I think he's going to get suspended and I think they should let it happen. I doubt few things will help him grow up and stop this kind of behaviour faster than not being allowed to play football.

Zeke getting 6 games?

"Multiple sources" have told NFL Network's Jane Slater that Ezekiel Elliott's suspension will be "closer" to or at six games.

Slater's colleague, Ian Rapoport, reports the "benchmark" is six games, which is standard for all domestic violence cases. It could be more or could be less, so this really doesn't give us much at the moment. However, an announcement from the league is expected to come down the chute on Friday. Six games would be a big blow to Elliott's fantasy stock. Darren McFadden would figure to be next in line, though Alfred Morris looked like the far superior back in the preseason opener.

All three of my leagues do the drafts over Labor Day weekend. Sure Preseason week 4 won't risk many starters but plenty of depth players will be out there. Not to mention the boneheads that might get busted for something during that week. Never like doing a draft any earlier.

I wonder if Jones ends up getting cut. He's been awful since he was drafted, but you don't see second round picks get cut after one year very often.

Why not try Carr on special teams returning, would suck to see him cut as injury's always hit the receiver spot on this team during the year. Would much rather see Bolden or Jones released then Carr right now.

Yep - I'm in 4 leagues this year, and only one of those is mine (that I run). I always try to do it over Labor Day weekend.
