The problem with that is you have coaches and owners saying they wouldn’t hire him based on the knee and not playing level. That’s the whole point is some teams made up there mind based on other factors.

The players may have help from the likes of Kraft and Jerry, two of the most influential owners.

Lol, yeah right...not while everyone is making money.
Players start losing game checks and owners start losing sponsors, it will all go away.

Sure, anything “could” happen. Odds are it won’t.

Salary cap keeps going up and careers keep getting shorter, I don't see a strike coming either. Surprised the NFLPA didn't tell Colin to just shove off.

So why negotiate? Why don’t players come in and bend over?

He's not going through the NFLPA, he's filing independently with some high-powered attorney who's also repped people like Michael Jackson and Chris Brown. The NFLPA was one of the parties (along with all 32 teams and the league office IIRC) that were or will be formally notified of the grievance.

Of course they are, cuz I'm starting Broncos D/ST and I'm playing a guy with Evan Engram. Both of our entire teams have already played except these, and now I might lose despite favorable early projections

Strikes these days are just posturing. The players make too much money to just give it up, and that's why the strikes end before affecting regular season games.

The last "successful" strike by the NFL players was in 1987, and at the time they earned a fraction of what they make today, even adjusted for inflation.

Money is why the players gave in just in time to save the regular season in 2011 without really getting any of what they really wanted.

You always negotiate for a bigger piece of the pie. But forcing a new Labor Dispute would benefit who? Kaep? While at the same time causing a lot of people to lose money...a lot of money.
Hey, I can’t wait to hear how this all plays out.

I may win despite starting A-Rod this week and going up against the 3rd ranked team in my league. Just shows how crazy fantasy football can be.

Yeah but they want less power for goodell and tons of other issues how bout eliminating the franchise tag which hurts the players. Plus with nfl ratings hurting the last thing they need is even the look of a strike.

Yeah my one win so far was last week and I narrowly beat the only undefeated team in the league at that point. All I need to do is claw my way up to sixth place or higher and make the playoffs, and hope that David Johnson comes back by Week 12 as projected (and is productive).
