Texans offensive tackle Duane Brown ended his holdout and returned to the team today. The Texans made it clear from the start they weren't going to renegotiate Brown's contract so it was a largely fruitless but very expensive holdout for Brown. It's unknown if the Texans will waive or lower Brown's fines at all, which totaled over $1.5 million, but even if they do waive the fines he still lost over $3.3 million in game checks. Brown's base salary also dropped $250,000 due to a de-escalator clause which kicked in when he skipped offseason workouts.

Played against him in both leagues and my guys didn’t really light it up. Now I’m looking good going into tonight’s game!

Big game tonight. These teams always play each other tough. I can’t believe Jordan Reed has not scored a TD yet this season...that has to change tonight. Philly struggles covering TE’s.
M curious to see if Darby makes it back this week!

Yeah I'm nervous as hell about tonight's game. Skins look good and they're gonna be playing angry after how Week 1's game ended. Should be a nail-biter, but I have faith in our squad.

Norman being out is going to hurt. If Breeland is out too, that might make Washington’s DBs as bad as Philly’s!

Just hope MVP front runner Carson Wentz can take advantage of that.

Yeah if Breeland is also out, we're in better shape. But that front seven is still gonna be legit, and if we regress to our no-run games from the first couple of weeks, I get a little nervous.

Wentz still had the edge in that race. Plus, that will be settled when Philly and Dallas get to play both games.
Again Dak has so much more around him and is trailing in a few key stats.
Oh plus there’s overall record.

Once the Zeke suspension hits, Dak will probably suffer more seeing crowded secondary.

If Zeke ends up sitting out six games and Dak can keep the ship afloat, then he'll definitely deserve to be in the conversation.

Um Tom Brady is the MVP front runner. 15 tds only 2 ints and 2,000 passing yards. Oh and he's 40 still showin these youngsters how it's DONE.

I need Ertz/Blount/Aglohor all to have very good games and Jordan Reed to suck.

Also, when I think MVP candidates/race/etc., I have zero thoughts on Dakota.

Age means a little something because at 24 we have seen players do what wentz has done. We have never seen a 40 year old do what Tom Brady is doing.
